Keen is the best and these are great.
The best all around footwear for general purposes. I do not hike in them though. They have a removable foot bed that allow use of orthopedic inserts below it which makes all the difference if you need them I have bought three pairs. All are durable and all fit perfectly. Highly recomended. Keen is the best.

Good pair of sandals zero
Very comfortable I’ve bought these before they always last me a year which I’m happy with because I’m always outside working in the yard, fishing, camping or even running errands in them. Every type of sandal like this will start to smell and pull cords loosen and stretch so paracord will fix string and a diluted bleach spray works also. I just feel for about $100 it’s worth buying knowing that they will last about a year. I’ve wanted to extend wearing them another year but tbh they hold sweat and my wife throws them away because smells up our closet even after thoroughly bleaching and using fabric sprays on them but it’s not brand specific as I’ve had every pair of outdoor hiking sandals just reek of salty foot. I live on Lake Huron and wear sandals daily when it’s warm enough and my favorite are Keen, owned probably every type and brand Keen seems to be more comfortable durable and the best brand out there for sandals. For people upset about smell you can probably prolong them by using foot deodorants but tbh I could care less I’m married have a kid last thing I’m worried about is a nice smelling pair of sandals. I work in our garden in these, mow lawn chase after a toddler and these fit my lifestyle perfectly. They are well made my feet are average width for 11 1/2 shoes I buy 12 in sandals and these fit perfectly not snug or loose. Just order a half size up and you’ll be fine.

Great looking footwear, quality construction. Etc.
Good quality. True to size. Comfortable to wear. No break-in required. Based on other Keen footwear I've purchased, virtually indestructible and great appearance throughout its life.

Durable & Comfortable Active Shoe
Excellent quality and comfort! Great closed toe shoe for the active person in the summer. My husband typically would wear a size 10. Had to size down to a 9.5 - these do run a little big. His only complaint is sometimes his pinky toe slips out the side of the shoe. Also, you do get dirt and rocks in these shoes - but he did with his last pair of Keens similar to these (Newport)… Easy enough to rinse off and clean.

Great shoes
Great shoes! They fit well and are cooler than the totally closed style.

KEEN SHOES: I'm a fan!
Although I feel that the Arroyo sandals fit slightly larger and wider than other Keen sandals I own (I have about a dozen pairs) they can easily be cinched up tight with the drawstring. They are indeed comfortable enough for all-day wear, and provide very adequate arch support for me (I have flat feet!). I do have two minor complaints: Unlike my other Keen sandals that have an elastic cinch-string, these have a non-stretch cinch. It's also a bit smaller in diameter than the elastic ones. The reason I point this out is that they have a tendency to loosen over the course of the day. One could conceivably avoid this by sizing them when on, then tying an overhand knot over the cinch-string just behind the adjuster lock. However, that will make it more difficult when getting the sandals on and off. The second issue concerns the sole. Yes, it's true that this is a deeply lugged sole, and is very well suited for day hikes. However, my experience over the past week, or so, is that the soles do not do well over any wet or damp surface. It causes the sole to slip, lose traction and slide. This is apparent on a wet floor, and suggests to me that they may not perform well on the train when climbing slick rocks, or those covered in moss. I should note that I have similarly found that the Keen H2 sole is very slippery on wet surfaces, in spite of the fact that they are designed for water sports. Looking at those one would assume that they had great traction on flat, wet surfaces due to their deck-shoe style treads ("razor-cut" type tread). Not the case, unfortunately. It's no secret that I'm a Keen fan, and also own several of their shoes, as well as specialized Keen cycling shoes (3 pairs!). I love the design of the Keens, and they allow me to walk in total comfort all day long. In particular, I enjoy the thicker, padded soles. They are well cushioned, and seem to last forever. I purchased my first pair of Keens about 12 years back (give or take), and still wear them. Very well constructed, well designed shoes. The Arroyo appears to be equally well made, and will (I hope) serve me well for many years to come.

Loose heels
Heel is looser than I would like. The elastic "laces" are not really very snug and loosen up over time. Besides that, they are. Pretty comfy. I might replace the stretchy elastic laces with standard shoelaces. Getting used to them as time goes on.

Quality and long wearing
Good and sturdy, good traction all weather. I wear these just about all year. (S Oregon) These are my second pair, the old ones are just fine still, but I want some new ones for "go to town". Only thing to do when new is get the best cushion work boot inserts you can find and put in. You might have to do some trimming on the insert for a good fit. Really makes them comfortable. I bought the first pair in May, 2020 and they are still daily wear, rain or shine.
