Mobii Custom Color Mix: Fidget Ball Stress Mobius Toy Restless Hand Anxiety Desk or Office (Small, Full)

I bought the small size and liked that I could pick my own colors, which are really pretty. It's just the right size for rubbing with my fingertips, which I find soothing. Focusing on that sensation relaxes me physically and mentally, and I plan to get more of these to keep around the house and in my purse.

I am absolutely in love with this fidget toy! I ordered my first one a couple months ago, and recently ordered my second. The first one disappeared at the end of the school year, and so I ordered a second one for my birthday. I have been looking for just the right fidget toy, but none of them fitted my criteria. I wanted to have a small, lightweight fidget that I could carry around with me, but it had to be metal, not some cheap plastic that’s mass produced for 3 bucks. The thing is, I’m highly sensitive to any metal containing nickel, and so when I came across the Möbii, I was delighted. It’s super resistant, and the color doesn’t rub off at all. The rings are near impossible to break, but that might not be saying much, because I’m only 11. I dropped it on cement within 20 minutes of receiving it, and it has no signs of damage. I was also looking for an item to test out a psychology theory I had read about, and this Möbii is the perfect thing. Basically, you use an item you find comforting as a trigger for calming down. You play with it whenever you feel at ease, and when you are upset, you play with it more, so your brain replicates the calm emotions you feel when playing with it. It’s about the size of a quarter, and comes with a drawstring bag for safekeeping. I love the fact that you can customize this, because you can pick your favorite colors. Even when you’re not playing with it, it’s pleasing to look at and admire. I do recommend rinsing it with water and soap upon receiving it, as this lubricates it and enables a smoother movement. Everything about this fidget, from the price to the quality, is amazing!!! 😁😁😁

I cannot say enough good things about these. Steel Lynx Mobii was recommended to me by a lovely Redditor who also shares my struggle with trichotillomania (obsessive compulsive hair-pulling). She absolutely raved about how wonderful these were so I had to give it a try.Technically, they are perfect. The rings move over each other smoothly, there's no stickiness, they don't make your fingers smell metallic, and the solder seams are so smooth you wouldn't know that there were there. I used a standard size 0.15 oz. lip balm for size reference. I know that may seem a little small, but it is actually perfect since I only really play with them with my fingertips in the first place.Now to the artistry. I wanted beautiful custom blue color but wasn't quite certain which colors to use or how many rings of each that would require. Instead, I linked an image of Sapphire Pool at Yellowstone National Park and requested that the Mobii resemble it. Geoff knocked it out of the park. The color combination is truly stunning and he did a phenomenal job of capturing the colors in the image (the photos make the Mobii look darker than it actually is). Also, these took less than 10 days from the time I placed my order to the time I received them. For custom work, that's pretty cool. As a side note, the green one pictured next to my custom blue one is the pre-made Shamrock which I also love.Overall, I'm quite pleased with my purchase. They are lovely and have become one of my desk staples next to my pen, notebook, and water bottle. I just got it today. I read about it I believe in a Gawker article about fidget toys and this one, along with the Buddha Board, stood out the most to me.I clearly have ADHD tendencies, I'm a head scratcher, a knee bouncer, and a fidgeter that can't stay in one place for too long so I've been getting into the fidget cubes and the like and thought I'd give this a shot. When I first got it today I really didn't know what to make of it. At first I was like "this is it?" but the longer I sit here and watch TV and mess around on my computer the more I realize that I've not put this thing down since it got here. And it is such that you don't even realize you're holding it it's just there for stimulation. Because of that I gotta give it five stars, it really does feel comfortable enough in your hand you honestly don't even realize you're playing with it. Based on the price and given the amount of hours I've already held it it's worthy of the high rating. Who knows what I'll think of it in, say, a month from now, but for today and the amount of hours I found it amusing it was worth the price.I think someone else might've mentioned, but you should give it a good wash with soap and water when you get it. The rings move a lot more freely after that. Overall, it's a cute and fun little toy and it feels good to support someone who is independently making these by hand.UPDATE: Had this for about a week now and I still can't put it down. Awesome product and my favorite out of all the fidget gadgets I have. Would totally recommend to anyone that feels they can't sit still and need to constantly keep moving.

I work with teenagers so I've made it a practice to have a fidget basket available. Because of this I've encountered and tried out numerous types of fidget toys. The Mobii is fantastic in that the chance of one of the kids breaking it is slim. Many fidget toys are cheap and break easily... the Mobii is worth the investment and I hope to update my review in a year and say it's still going strong. It is small and makes minimal noise. The Mobii easily carries in a pocket. It was great to be able to customize the colors I wanted and I ended ordering them as gifts for friends who also appreciate a good fidget toy. Keep in mind that it is tiny so this would not be good for small children... but for teens and adults it is great. Even better, you get to support a small Hoosier business! Great fidget for those that are anxious, nervous, pickers, ADHD, or just like something to fidget with.
