Really easy to set up and reliable
I have been looking for a power failure detection system for awhile and there are not too many available. I had installed the YoLink temperature sensors in my several refrigerators/freezers after having one of the machines fail while I was out of town and no one noticed for about a week. When I saw that YoLink also has a power failure alarm I jumped on it due to price and ease of installation. I have not had a failure yet but when testing it worked well so I am pretty confident it will work when I need it. Note you do need a YoLink hub to use this, but one hub covers all their various sensors and the hub is not that expensive. YoLink does not conform to the various automation systems like Z-Wave, Zigbee, SmartThings, Matter, etc, but unlike some of the above YoLink sets up easy and works very well with excellent battery life in the sensors and has excellent signal strength so sensors can be installed some distance from the hub and inside steel boxes and still function. You can connect it to Alexis, Google and others but I have not done this yet.

Great design, easy to install, highly configurable
This is the third type of YoLink sensor I have purchased (I already have multiple digital temperature sensors and water leak detectors). They consistently have a GREAT design, from an aesthetic standpoint, user experience, and functionality. The power outage sensor took only minutes to install and configure, and makes use of their standard app (it's just another device among the many I have already). It is very flexible, and provided the features and configurability (e.g. ability to turn off local audio alerts, and rely only on smart phone notifications) that I was hoping for.I highly recommend YoLink sensor products. They are well designed and at a great price.

Good for use with GFCI or arc fault breakers on critical equipment
GFCI and arc fault breakers are prone to trip due to problems created by freezers and/or refrigerators on the circuit. My Research indicates that it's not recommended to use freezers or refrigerators on this type of circuit. This device plugged into one outlet on a gfci or arc fault circuit will let you know if the breaker trips thereby protecting your expensive food from damage over long term storage failure.

Missing an important feature
Great device to monitor for power outages at your home. The only issue is that the device is missing an important feature: The alarm speaker cannot be disabled. For those of us that have specific use cases for this device (see below) and only want to receive app, text and email notifications, and NOT hear an audible alarm, we're out of luck. The only options are to vary the alarm's speaker volume. Again, there is no way to mute it completely, without turning the device off, which would render it useless.I brought this issue to Yolink, but they didn't seem to be very interested in modifying the switch on the side of the device to add a mute setting for the speaker. I never heard back from them after making the suggestion.I solved the issue myself by opening the device and physically disconnecting (cutting) the wires connected to the speaker. This ought to keep it quiet for a while (forever, actually). R.I.P. annoying speaker. If you are wondering why I would not want to hear an audible alarm from the device, I am using this device plugged into the AC port of a battery backup power station to insure the ports are on and active. On rare occasions, the software for the power station disables the AC ports without warning. If the AC ports do become disabled, this device sends text/email/app notifications to notify me. I don't need a local alarm sounding because I'm only interested in learning about the situation when I'm away from home.Perhaps you can think of other cases where you may not want to be notified with an audible alarm from this device. Unfortunately, that's not an option (unless you want to cut the speaker wires).

Best investment I've made yet
So far, this has been one of the best purchase's that I have made. the installation and programming went without a hitch. I am not tech savvy and usually depend on my son to handle things that have to do with the internet or any electronic. Instructions were a breeze, and everything was up and running in a very short time. I have now complete statistics on both my freezer and my refrigerator with alarms to let me know if everything is working properly.

Just what I have been waiting for!
Since I am "invested" in the Yolink universe with multiple Yolink devices (which all work flawlessly) I have been writing them requesting a power failure alarm for months. Last month I was advised one was due out in February and to my surprise I got an email over this past weekend that it is now available. I ordered the alarm and a Yolink Wi-Fi smart wall outlet. I need this to monitor my garage outlet where our freezer is plugged in because if power glitches even for a few seconds the freezer shuts down and needs to be powered back on after a 5-minute compressor wait via a power off cycle (dumb, eh?). Anyway, the freezer is plugged into the Yolink Power Outlet and the alarm into the USB port on the outlet which is quite convenient. What happens now is if/when I get a power fail notification to my phone for that outlet I can physically shut off the outlet for 5 minutes through their app to let the freezer "recover" from the power failure then power it back on. The 2 devices together (after 2 hours of testing) are working flawlessly.Important note here: Your Yolink hub and network router MUST have backup power (a small UPS device works fine) or there will be no way to send an alert IF YOU ARE NOT HOME since your Wi-Fi will be down. Not sure if the alert will "hold" until power returns, but I do have their hub and my router on a UPS.Here is my ONE MINOR COMPLAINT about their device: There needs to be another notification when POWER RETURNS. Hopefully they will add this in a software update in the near future.
