These things are awesome! My whole bedroom is lavender and purple decor. I wanted a purple lightbulb. Searched everywhere, and couldn't find anything. The few I found had terrible reviews. I was really bummed, because I bought a hanging crystal lamp for next to my bed, and really wanted color. Almost gave up, then by a stroke of luck came across these, and was like "no way!". I was so excited, so thank goodness they didn't disappoint. Super easy to put on and take off. The colors are vivid and really do set the "mood." The purple dims the strength of light a tad and the color is so relaxing and peaceful. Perfect for my bedroom decor, just like I knew it would be. And the option to be able to switch colors in 10 seconds on any lightbulb is great. You won't be disappointed. Worth the money because unlike a lightbulb, they won't burn out and be trash. They cost the same as 1 colored lightbulb too. I am going to relax in my purple light now.... Happy with purchase. Would recommend. Would buy again as gifts or for my house.

This is my 3rd package of moodies. I love them! Awesome invention. The purple color really cast a nice glow in my bedroom, also these ones have a black light effect which really makes everything glow! I use these over my LED bulbs. These are a way better deal than buying pricey colored LED bulbs. I also use other colors (red, orange) at my massage studio which casts a nice, relaxing glow in my floor lamps. Definitely buy these if you want to set a nice "mood" for the evening.

These are great, work as advertised. Used these in accent lamps I bought from Walmart to create my own uplighting for my wedding. I'd say you get about 5 feet of great upward throw and 3-4 feet of decent upward throw per light bulb. Of course I imagine the light output and throw depends on the wattage on the bulbs used - I tried these with both 13W CFL and 10W LED Bulbs and got the above results. Would love to try these on a larger wattage bulb, but my lamps don't allow it.Very pleased with this purchase, if I hadn't decided to rent larger LED lights to get deeper color coverage (this is my wedding after all) I would be purchasing more of these, and probably will get a variety of colors to use in my apartment down the road.

The moodies are terrific. I bought them to get special lighting for a party I was hosting, and they created an amazing atmosphere in the room. They are safe too! I was worried about that, as I get anxious putting things on any heated surface, but after hours of being on my led bulbs (they work on led or cfl bulbs), they were perfectly fine. On top of all that they are way cheaper than buying colored bulbs, and you can easily swap them on and off to allow for more flexibility if you are trying to achieve a certain atmosphere in your room.

They are not a true purple. They cast off a pink light and it looks rather unappealing. I am not impressed with them for this reason. I will be returning them.

These are amazing! My daughter loved them and they did exactly what I expected them to do. They changed the light to a nice purple, that wasn't to dark or pale like most do. I love that we can change them to different colors when we are ready! Will definitely order these again

These were awesome. I use them for my outside lights. Makes my yard a beautiful shade of purple.
