I’ve been using this product now for nearly two years after realising that my greying hair was making me look older than I feel!I didn’t want a black obvious “all over dye” so thought I’d give this a go.It took 3/4 weeks of shampooing 3 times a week before I noticed a difference. It’s subtle but noticeable. Work colleagues haven’t realised it’s dyed and have commented how I’m looking younger!I now do it 2 times a week to maintain. Colour at the sides is still quite grey but this is likely because I have my hair cut every 3 weeks and the sides are shaved to a 1 grade. Top is dark with a few grey hairs and blends brilliantly.Only giving 4 stars as you have to be careful to clean your hands and the shower area to avoid blackening on tiles or nails. You also have to linger in the shower for 3 mi s to allow it to work.Overall I would suggest go for it..,you won’t regret it and you will feel and look better!P.s. the shampoo is great quality and also makes your hair feel smooth and clean.

Best brand and lasting results. Wear gloves or your hands and nails will be stained beyond help lol

I found the Just For Men Control GX Grey Reducing Shampoo to be fairly effective in gradually reducing grey hair, and it left my hair feeling smooth thanks to the coconut oil and aloe vera. However, the biggest issue I encountered was with the packaging. The tube tends to split and spill its contents, which not only wastes the product but also stains my bathroom. This messiness detracts from the overall experience. If the packaging could be improved, it would make a significant difference.

I bought this for my husband who (like most men of a certain age) has moved from the “older man with distinguished grey hair” stage to the “old man, full stop” stage.Don’t get me wrong, I’m loving the new look but he is less than happy!! So I decided to see if I could help.The bottle is easy to squeeze (not sure why another reviewer found it difficult) and easy to apply. Whilst they don’t recommend gloves (just as well otherwise you would have lost my husband at this stage), I would recommend their advice not to use your fingertips to rub it in as it can stain the nails slightly. On this note, my husband did drip a bit onto my waiting whites wash and I did end up with a brown stain on the white bedding (nice!) but this cane out in the second wash. Therefore be careful around clothing or white bath mats etc.It builds up over use and they recommend using until you get to the desired hair colour and then just maintain with the occasional wash. However, we decided this would be too obvious going from grey to brown so my husband uses it once a week and this has built up to the level we wanted over a month without being noticeably different to others. Excellent result in that we are both happy with the colour.The shampoo itself has no smell and cleans the hair well. Only negative is that you need quite a bit as it doesn’t lather at all. Good value for money as we only use it once a week, this would obviously be different if you were using it more regularly.This is the third bottle we’ve purchased so deserves 5 stars.

What have they done? This product used to be amazing. The difference was night and day after just the one wash. Something has clearly happened to the formula though, as it seems to just not do anything noticeable anymore. This is supported by the fact you can actually see the difference in the colour of the product when in your hand. You used to clearly be able to see the black dye in it. Now, it's just not there. Such a shame. I thought it was just a dud bottle, but it's happened twice now. I won't be purchasing this product again.
