It is Time to repair those speakers
I have bought a couple of different sizes to repair speakers in the house and in the truck. Ok, I'm about one coo coo clock away from being a hoarder and I had these Norman labs speakers in the back of the back room for years and I pulled them out , measured and ordered the speaker foam from these guys instead of ordering some over priced kit I saw somewhere. I used my T-7000 glue and the hardest thing was cleaning and preparing the speakers for new foam. The results were perfect. I should have done it years ago. since then I redid the truck speakers and another set of cabinet speakers and a set of 4 in my boat of which one was so corroded it had to be saved in the back of the back room, just kidding, I tossed it looking longly at the bin wanting to pull it back out. Well, it's time to fix your speakers, how do the speakers sound in your car? the foam is a really easy fix and the most common type of repair.

Nicely made
I was going to go ahead and replace ny speaker foam with these rubber ones. I decided not to based on a pair of speakers that I did that to and ive regretted ever since. Dont get me wrong they will work and sound good (might be able to handle a little extra bass too) but the problem is you will lose detail. Sad to say I did that too a vintage pair of jbl and they lost so much detail I don't even like the speakers anymore. If detailed music is what your used then replace with sane foam type. If you just like good sounding or loud music then these will work for you and last alot longer too. You can always install them test and if you don't like them you can start over.

For good speakers, skip this and buy a decent quality foam...
I've re-foamed dozens of speakers over several years and rarely had issues with any of them. I tried this product to try to save a few dollars and it just wasn't worth it. The amount of hours I had to spend redoing my work was far more "expensive" than the materials... I used quality adhesive, a signal generator to ensure it was centered and allowed ample curing time to make sure I'm not creating any problems. In repeated attempts on one set of speakers, I had it working perfectly, only to have the voice coil begin to rub after a day or two. I can only think that the foam somehow doesn't retain its shape and moves off-center. If you're working on nice speakers, I'd skip this set and go for a quality foam that may cost a few dollars more. Extremely frustrating....

I like the flexibility and it fits well as a replacement for edge speaker. The sound and quality were great. I am happy with the result after assembly on speaker. I had to use 35 Hz frequency tone on the speaker while attaching the edge to the speaker. So no need for me to open the dust cap and align it center.

Worked great to replace the surrounds on the Titan v2 bookshelf speakers. They are a tiny bit oversized but it didn't interfere when placed back into the speaker box.

These fit my speakers perfectly. I used E-6000 all purpose adhesive and took my time. The speakers sound great again.

Yes, it works and allowed me to fix my aging Paradigm speakers. The foam is easy to attach with regular craft glue (some pressure is needed to hold it in place until the glue sets). You may want to Google "Foam vs Rubber Speaker Surrounds" to learn the difference.
