I just wanted to start off with this because reading people write that they are disappointed in this after a few uses is really frustrating. The real solution to healthy skin actually starts from within, STOP expecting companies tools to magically fix your problems. Rating them a 0 because your collagen production isn't up to par to the way that is used to be or even because your acne hasn't cleared as quickly as desired is silly. I went to school for esthetics and know that normally good HF machine is hundreds and hundreds of dollars which is why the moment I saw this, I immediately purchased it. Certain things you should know before you purchase this ( or have it ). Normally, you aren't supposed to feel anything ( it even says that in the instructions ). You hear the probe working but again, you are not really supposed to feel anything. If you do feel a zap, it's not going to kill you, you just put it up way too high ( also says that in the instructions). ALSO WHEN USING THE PROBE THERE IS A SCENT THAT COMES WITH IT, NO THE MACHINE IS NOT FAULTY, NO YOUR HAIRS ARE NOT BURNING, IT IS THE WAY IT IS SUPPOSED TO SMELL. Also, the glass IS THIN AND SENSITIVE, DON'T GRAB IT HARD OR ELSE IT WILL BREAK. Always grab the probe by the body and pull straight up. Don't grab it by the head and wiggle it because it will break. This is my favorite way to kill all the bacteria underneath my skin, help with my dark circles ( I will write how I do that below ) and keep my skin nice and healthy. Anyways.... NuDerma, I am sorry you had some people use this the wrong way and maybe lost some customers due to ratings. I think this product is incredible, very high quality and you will forever have a loyal customer. ----- If you are still reading and are curious how this helps my dark circles, I use the thin prob and circle it counterclockwise AROUND my eyes as it stimulates the blood flow. Do not put this on your eyelid ( not sure why you would ) circle it right below the eyebrow and below your eye.

I am writing this review exactly a month to the day that I first got this device & started using it. I had bad hormonal acne on my face concentrated around my chin (yes, I'm female, this is my husband's acct) & a friend made a Facebook post about how she got rid of her cystic acne & cleared up her face so I asked her how she did it & was introduced to this device. I immediately ordered one & at first I kept it on a fairly low power setting, about a 3 or 3 &1/2 & after a few days of using it, I thought my skin on my face looked smoother & softer. After 2 weeks, I started getting more comfortable with the machine so by that time, I had the power level turned up almost full blast & I definitely noticed my cystic acne was clearing up. My skin looked vibrant & my pores looked noticably smaller so I decided to start using it on my neck & chest & on my stretch marks on my breasts & hips just to see what would happen. I also started using it on the back of my hands where I was starting to notice my skin changing (I'm 41) & I have not noticed much change on my stretch marks (maybe just tighter skin) but I have noticed a change in the skin on the back of my hands only after a few days of using it there. Now here I am exactly a month into using it ( I missed about 3 or 4 days total of using it during the month because I forgot a time or 2 & my power went out for a couple days after a storm) & I can't believe how much the skin on my face has improved. I had tried everything to clear up my cystic acne & nothing worked & was starting to get concerned that I was going to scar my face up picking at it. My hands & neck look better too & it does tighten the skin. My forehead wrinkles which were rather deep have also improved as well as fine lines around the eyes. I'm very glad I gave this a chance. It's worth the money but you have to be consistent. I want to mention that I have body piercings & it did not harm or negatively affect my jewelry which I did not remove while using. At first I tried not to touch them because I had read other reviews where people were concerned about this but eventually ended up unintentionally touching my piercing jewelry & nothing happened so there's that. It does put off an odd smell which reminds me of pennies & it does seem like you can taste it in your mouth at times but you get used to that & it doesn't bother me now. Also with the power level turned up pretty much to the max, you will feel a small electrical type zapping which weirded me out at first but now it makes me feel like I'm accomplishing something because I know it's working, lol. I also wanted to mention that I have had no "racing heart" symptoms like I saw a couple people talking about in the reviews. I'm extremely happy with this purchase & would definitely recommend this to others. EDIT: In addition, I read that wrapping the end of the bulb with gauze helps increase the potency of your treatments by allowing more oxygen around the electrode & the more oxygen that you allow around the electrode, the more effective it is. Putting gauze over your face or the area in which you’re using high frequency, allows a gap from your skin to the electrode creating more space for the ozone to form and do its thing. Just a tip I picked up that I've noticed helps.

For high frequency devices to have any actual effect their frequency is supposed to be over 100Hz, this device is 50-60Hz. The specs are not mentioned on Amazon for this very reason. Read about required device frequency online. This device is simply not doing what it is advertised to do.

This product is not compatible with electricity supplies outside Canada and the USA. On the box it clearly states that the product should not be used with adapters. The information on the page says it runs on batteries
