Majohn T5 Piston Fountain Pen Blue Fireworks Medium Nib, Large Ink Capacity Writing Pen Set with Box

I was surprised at the quality feel of the pen. The red color is very deep and it almost looks black until it is brought into good light. The “fireworks” are quite nice though subtle. It writes very smoothly - I loaded it with Noodlers Black just to get a sense of that. No burping, hard starts, or skipping. I got the F nib and am very happy with it.

I went with the matte black version. It is a great looking matte with some shiny black finials that looks great. I am however actually using the second one I received as the first came with a broken piston. Unlike some other pens from Asvine / Wingsung / Hongdian and even other Majohn - Moonman pens, the piston unit is made of plastic and not metal. I have removed the piston about 10 times carefully and have not had any issues but from the first pen I received and comments from others, this is an area of concern. The pen is medium length but thicker than average with a good solid weight to it. Sounds weird but the feel of screwing the cap on this pen is sublime. The nib was fine with a little tweaking but I have since changed it with an easy swap to a Kaigelu Long-knife nib. The pen is now one of my favorites.

The t5 pen ( made by moon man) is fat and big in size and is solid built with thick plastic barrel and solid metal holder. I feel comfortable to write intensively without worrying breakdown of the parts. It has a subtle pattern that is beautiful to look. The nib and the feed are working fine together to deliver whatever one wants to write or draw. Well worth the cost and waiting for the pen to come from china. I will recommend it to anyone who is interested to have an inexpensive and good quality pen.

This pen writes super smoothly, and comfortable in the hand, has a large ink capacity, has been completely reliable, and I am happy with it in every way.

Super impractical, extremely difficult to fill, I would like to return mine but it's filled with pink ink. Will not boy again or reccomend. Every time I try to screw the cap down the entire piston unscrews, and my hands and atomach are covered in ink because of it.

This is a downright gorgeous pen! I love it for that. But as any fountain pen user knows, it's the nib that counts. And this one is just not for me. It's not horrible, just not to my liking. Probably could have it custom ground, but would cost as much as the pen itself. By this, I mean that it is an <EF> nib, but writes quite wet, and with a pretty wide line, more like a <M> Japanese nib. I am spoiled by Sailor and Platinum nibs, so this may very well not be a problem for you, especially if you like western nibs, like Pelikan, Lamy, etc. Maybe in the future, when these get more mature, they'll offer nibs for people like me...think needle point or <UEF> nibs.

The pen is a great weight and seems to be made very well, writes great out of the box I’m sitting it for my sheening inks and i really like it.

Great pen with a unique line from the nib tipping on the fine nib version. The fine writes more toward western medium with a bit of feedback but in no way scratchy. Writes more like my Montagrappa medium than any other pen I own. Love it! I have the Medium nib version as well but it’s closer to broad to me so be careful which size nib you choose.

The colour is Deep and rich. Great ink capacity. Posts well and the nib is quite smooth. I use this as my go to pen now because it is enjoyable to use.

This pen was stated to arrive in about a month, however, I received it in less than two weeks, which was a lovely surprise. The pen itself is well made, the plastic body is free from any flexing and bending, and feels pretty sturdy and rigid when I hold it. I can feel that it isn't going to fall apart in my hands. It works well; I got the medium nib with the green barrel, and it writes relatively dry, however, doesn't skip lines and is really smooth, even for my left hand, which is always a plus. It basically has an inbuilt converter, and you fill it up like you would a converter too; holding it downward, counter-clockwise turns would empty the pen, and clockwise rotations would fill it back up. The piston usage is very smooth and relatively firm so it won't accidentally unwind while under normal usage, and it has a large ink window so that you can check if you need to refill it. Overall, the pen is very nice, especially for the price, and is definitely worth a buy.

Moonman yani yeni marka ismiyle Majohn kalite cizgisini bozmuyor. Markananin bende pek cok modeli var ama Ilk kez M uclu bir model satin aldim. Yazim keyfi harika. Atlama takilma yok. Vintage goruntusu, dengesi, murekkep akisi ve agirligi yerinde. Kesinlikle tavsiye ederim.

Magari è capitato solo a me, ma ho avuto problemi col pistone, nel modo di caricare l’inchiostro si è sfilato e non c’è stato modo di ripristinarlo. Sicuramente ci voleva qualche attrezzo apposito, ma nella confezione non c’era nulla.
