Great for plug and play!
We bought this item for a 2000 Honda Accord. The stock speakers were still good and we weren't looking to blow the doors off so we wanted a double din stereo that would plug in easily and offer the following upgrades:Bluetooth for audioBluetooth phone connectionXM compatibilityThis offers all three and works very well. The sound is good through the stock speakers, but don't expect miracles. We dropped it in the car in am afternoon and everything looks great and works great. Love the flexibility of colors to match existing interior and the CD player is nice in case we need to go "old school" and use one of those relics. Here are some bits of advice.1. Buy a wiring harness that will plug directly into your cars existing wiring. Metra makes these and you can buy on Amazon. (Buy a box of 20-22 gauge butt connectors at the hardware store and a crimper for connecting the stereo to the harness.)2. Buy a mounting bracket for your car. It will not look professional with out it. Metra makes these and you can order on Amazon.3. Buy a USB and audio plug that can be mounted in the dash or console for a professional look. The USB and aux audio plugs are in the back. So, unless you want wires hanging out of the dash to connect your phone, this is a must. (This is a little more invasive as you have to drill a hole to mount the plug in. We put ours next to the power outlet in the center console and it looks great!)4. Buy an XM antenna. You have to have one to listen to Sirius XM. The tuner will manage the XM signal and will tune into the stations, but you need the XM antenna to hook into the head unit. (Watch some videos on installation to determine the best way to get the wire from outside of the car through the dash. We used the front column of the car and fished the wire through the dash after taking out the instrument panel.)5. Watch some videos on how to get the microphone for bluetooth calling in a location you like and get the wire to the head unit.6. Check Crutchfield for the hardware needed specifically for your make and model. The items described in #1 & #2 are very vehicle specific. Crutchfield wI'll tell you the exact models you need.

love it, great deck
Install was a breeze in my 2011 Mazda3 Sport igot a kit on here also that included the wiring harness and dash panel trimplenty of youtube videos on how to install.I also picked up the microbypass on here also, again, plenty of videos on youtube.I did get a backup camera license plate kit, but didn't feel comfortable drilling my bumper so took it to a stereo shop for install - charged me $75 bucks.Overall, totally worth the price.took my car from the stone ages to bluetooth autoconnect, a backup camera. not only aux, but also usb input that plays not only mp3 but also plays video mp4 files. CD and DVD capability. The deck works great, different color themes to match your interior dash lighting theme.Things I like about the deck.My phone connects automatically to bluetooth. I also have a youtube red account, and i use youtube almost exclusively for music and podcasts, so when i get in my car, bluetooth connects automatically and whatever i was listening to autoplays and continues playing through the deck. The deck also comes with an interior microphone for calls, I mounted mine right above the steering wheel just below the speedometer.I also had my backup camera installed so the power for the camera is coming from auxiallary power, while the deck was wired to the reverse light for a trigger. that allows me to take advantage of the backup camera auto on feature when i shift into reverse, and also having the ability while I am parked to just turn my key to accessory and using a feature on the deck, turn on monitor view to see whats going on behind me. this feature also comes in handy when driving on the freeway. If you hook up your backup camera as ive detailed, you can turn on monitor view on the deck while you are driving, music continues playing, but now you can see your blindspots on driver and passenger sides. it works really well.I also like the usb feature, I have a 256 gb usb stick i loaded with study material, recorded webinars, and I can play audio video right off the usb stick.Phone calls work really well, phone rings, you can answer by directly touching the screen answer button.

Works very well, looks amazing and Pandora/Spotify software is great
Seems to be working well, no glaring issues and it looks great in my dash. There are a ton of settings and color options for the display. The Pandora and Spotify options on this radio offer further access to your music and display cover art whereas Bluetooth only shows the song and artist title. This is my first aftermarket head unit so I don't know how this one stacks up against others, but this one has everything an average music listener (like me) needs and the Amazon price was very competitive. I wired and installed this myself in my dash in lieu of paying some shop to do it for me. I didn't have any trouble wiring it up and I've never done anything like this before, I just had to watch a bunch of youtube videos that explained the wiring and install process.
