Stunning and Realistic Aquarium Background!
I recently purchased the AWERT 36x24 inches Stone Aquarium Background in Black Rock for my 40-gallon fish tank, and I'm absolutely delighted with it. The vinyl material is high-quality and durable, and the rocky texture provides a realistic depth that transformed my aquarium instantly. Installation was straightforward—I used double-sided tape to secure it, and it stayed perfectly in place. My fish appear more vibrant against this background, and the dark stone look gives a natural and calming environment for them. Additionally, it's easy to clean and maintain, which is a bonus. Highly recommend to anyone looking to elevate the appearance of their aquarium or terrarium with minimal effort!

Printed fabric not a glossy poster paper. POOR QUALITY
My fault for not reading the full description and reviews, but this is a fabric that is attached with 4 peices of double stick tape, not a glossy poster type. The print resolution is very low and the shadows and rock blend together. The image used in the listing looks crisp with defined shadows and rock edges... the print quality on the fabric is horrible.

Perfect for What I Needed!
NOTE: This is not self-adhesive. I did not need an adhesive one. I wanted something for my 150-gal (60”x24”x24”) turtle tank, to hide the lamp cords and filter tubes. This lightweight fabric background was a perfect choice! I bought two. I just draped and taped the first one over the back, and overlapped the second one on back and side of the tank, and secured with a few inconspicuous pieces of black tape. It was very easy to maneuver the fabric and adjust placement before taping. No need to move or unplug any hoses or lamps. Looks great! Sorry if photos don’t do it justice. (See also: My turtle, Franklin, is being shy, and thinks he’s hiding.)

get your own adhesion,,
it’s a weird fabric and the picture is low quality. that said, i realized when i applied it it didn’t lay flat against the glass. which didnt make me happy at first, but then i realized it gave it a 3d look. hard to show in a photo but it looks great . should come with sticky tape or something

Will Order Again but.....
The material is good quality and fairly easy to work with. The color and design give my tank better depth and make all of my fish and plants "pop". The problem is they do not supply enough double stick tape for the size of the background. The company supplies four small squares which was barely enough to do a 24" x 17" tank. There would be a lot of sagging material if you tried to do a 72" x 24" tank or multiple tanks from one sheet. I went out and bought a Scotch brand (3M) product to use the remainder of my sheet on other tanks. I will buy the product again and if there had been sufficient material I would have given a higher rating.

I recommend
I was skeptical of the reviews. However, I’m glad I took the chance because this backdrop is really cool. It makes the colors pop with my black sand. I ironed it out on the silk setting which was no big deal. It is a fabric type and not the shiny plastic (I think that helps it give it a not so fake look). I ended up using my own tape as I could not get the backing off the tape that was provided.

Not 72” unfortunately
Used an iron set on 2 (low) as instructed to get wrinkles out from transport. Material began to shrink up from the heat after very limited exposure to the iron. I will own that as maybe I should have ironed on 1. Anyhow I stopped ironing immediately and attempted to apply to aquarium with remaining wrinkles. Welp, about 2 inches shorter than the length of the tank ta boot. Super bummed, thankfully not an expensive buy but if I’d known I would have saved my $10. Maybe a fluke, if you want to take a chance go for it. I’ll maybe cut it down to the size of a smaller tank or something. Good luck

Exactly as pictured!
I wanted to rescape my 75 gallon tank and bought this for the background. It arrived with 4 stickies for the corners and instructions for installation and flattening. I did end up ironing it as suggested by the instructions as it was creased from being folded. The creases came out easily and it fit well on my 75 gallon. It wad a little longer than needed, but this allowed me to adjust the image as I wanted. I did end up adding 2 more pieces of tape to help keep this flat on the back instead of bubbling. I had no issues with coloration- its a nice black and I'd buy again!
