Got this to replace my broken bt66 transmitter which is exactly identical to this one. In fact the remote for the bt66 works on this as well. My bt66 has worked for me for the past 5 years now up until the plug broke just leaving it dangling on the wire. I used it for music as the Bluetooth for calls was basically useless (poor microphone design). I was ok with that. Overall I was happy with the bt66 so my expectations were to be the same with this one. In general they are, however my only disappointment so far is that the transmitter isn’t as good at the old one. My old one would very rarely have static in the background and this one does. I set it up to use the same channel as the old one, I even tried changing to a couple different channels and in different car but no difference. Other than that it operates. This item is great for streaming music. However, the built in microphone is not good at picking voices for phone calls. It would be nice if it had an external microphone that could be clipped in a different place in the car to more easily pick up your voice. Seller was great. Fast shipping. It will allow me to not replace the car stereo for a while as I mainly purchased it to stream music.

Worked OK for a while (about 2-3 month), but then the display went out and could no longer set the radio station on the device to match with the radio station on the radio. The Phone charger still works, but too bad the display stopped working after only about 2 month.

One to the USB outlets has never worked, the display has a very limited range of motion making the display difficult to see except when directly in front of it. Meh....

Works great... doesn't get 5 stars because it's not perfect as some interference does occur since it operates on radio frequency. Other than that, the customer service through Deal Chaser is excellent and on par with Amazon's "customer obsession".

The only problem I have with this is the crackling it gives when there is too much base in a song, I can barely hear. Is there a way to fix this? Also my remote doesn't work.

I have a 2007 MB C280. Bluetooth technology was not available for in 2007, without the hassle of buying a new radio, paying for installation and hoping someone didn't screw up my wiring, this product is Awesome! Plugged it in, paired to my device, tuned into an unused FM station and in 5 minutes a potential $900 problem was solved for $17.99! Best $17.99 i've ever spent!

If you have a older vehicle like myself you should look into this product. No more speaker phone, the vehicle is now the phone.
