It says one of the strongest on the market but looks way less than the Beet it 8000 powder? Anyone able to tell me if this will be good for runners?

I am trying to find capsules to replicate the 8.4 mmol nitrates to be found in 140 ml beetroot juice. How many of your capsules are required for that?

Hi Simon, thanks for your question! :) According to PubChem, the molecular weight of Nitrates is 62.005g/mol; each millimole would correspondingly convert to 62.005 mg, so 8.4 mmol works out to 520.842 mg of nitrates. At min. 4% nitrates, each 700 mg capsule of Toniiq's Beet Root contains no less than 28 mg of nitrates. 19 capsules would provide 532 mg of nitrates, or 8.58 mmol. However you are using a top, top-notch beet root juice for comparison. Most beet root juices are much less expensive and concentrated than what is listed in PubChem.
