Great boots for the money! First time with felt wader boots today and couldn’t believe how much grip i had! Paired these with the caddis taupe stocking foot waders and im super pleased with my purchase. Almost bought korkers but decided to stay more within my budget. Im a 7.5 to 8 in boot size and glad i read the description on these boots. They are sized larger to compensate for the bootie in your waders. I bought size 8 and had a med to heavy wool sock on aswell. Never felt scrunched or uncomfortable at all in my four hour testing. Very pleased with the waders and boots both. May buy a rubber soled set for muddy bottoms.

I wear a size 9, and needed a size 8 in these. I'm just wearing the wader socks or wool socks at that size. The toe slants upward, so if feels like your toes are bent the entire time. The boots are rather narrow, so if you are a wide foot guy like me, you might not be comfortable. I sent mine back, BUT...if they had fit I can tell you they are nicely made, the upper half of the shoe plus will fold over and they're very light. Great price.

Because they're going right back. Make sure you check local regs, felt soled boots are illegal in Maryland, Vermont, and a few other states. Supposedly improperly cleaned felt transfers a bad algae between streams. Hopefully the rubber soles work just as good, I'll be getting those next and will post a review...Edit: So I'm sure these work great, I had Caddks felt before and bought them again, only to find out they're illegal. I bought the rubber soles and they do work well? Ok? Well, not as good as felt. But I understand why we can't have nice things in this case, so I'm ok with it. These guys make great gear, so If you can get these and use them where you live without risking heavy fines, this is the ticket. Their rubber sole ones work pretty good too.

Had to return. All reviews said to order the size you normally wear, even assuming you’re wearing waders. I ordered the matching Caddis chest waders with this shoe in my normal size 9. No way! Was not even a close fit. Could not get my heel in the shoe at all.. Without the waders and using thick athletic socks, the shoes flopped loosely around my feet. Looked to be a good product, but the fit was not acceptable. A better description or chart of proper fitment is needed.

I needed a pair of wading shoes and had asked a professional fishing guide what to look for. These shoes met all of his suggestions. Since receiving them I have had the chance to use them twice. Very good on the slippery rocks I encounter. I am glad I ordered a size 13 even though I wear a 12 - 12 1/2 shoe. I am able to tuck the excess wader footie material into the show with no problem or discomfort.

These were just used for a full weekend at Lees Ferry. After the weekend, I can share a two key pieces of information I would be looking for:These are the most comfortable and light boots that have ever gone over my stockingfoot waders.I washed them up in the garden hose last night and they look good as new. I was surprised to see no damage done to the felt sole as well, after all I was crunching dozens of beer cans flat on the bank, the boat, and miscellaneous other surfaces.Seriously, great boots.

I have used them about 6 times now. I never have an issue with slipping on wet rocks or with strong current.

So far so good, I have only used them a few time so far and they are still in good shape and working very well. I will update this review after the fishing season is over and see how they stand up and if the felts stay on the boots

Used them for the first time last week and they worked great, felt soles made it much better walking on the slippery walks, and they dried up quickly.

Light weight. Easy walking on rivers with them. Comfortable. Great quality for the price

if you wanna go cheap , well this is it . these are flimsy badly made boot , no support and cheap material .
