Had an old, like 15 years old, USB male speaker that I wanted to use with an iPhone 13. Got this two pack at a very good price and is working great with my phone. It seems to use quite a bit of my battery, and sometimes the speaker doesn't recognize when plugged into the phone, but unplugging and plugging the device back to my phone gets it going again. I'm afraid the lighting male portion is not too sturdy, as when my phone lays flat it seems to tilt down on that portion so I hope it does not break off? Well, I guess that's why there's two! Great purchase overall for the price and works with my old home audio speaker.

These work great. I'm able to connect USB drives to my iPhone and iPad with this type of port, and the iPhone/iPad recognizes the device in the Files app.

I bought this so I could edit my resume, which is on a USB drive, on the fly using Word on my phone. The adapter opens up a lot of storage opportunities.

I attempted to attach my IPhone to my PC and didn't work. I downloaded all the software required from the Microsoft Store and with no luck. I spend a couple of hours verifying software and making sure I used USB 3.0 and still no luck. Other people reported the same issue. DONT BUY THIS ITEM if you plan on using your IPHONE.

Works as described, however it is obviously just a cheap piece of tech and it gets hot. Also it’s not sturdy or solid, if u shake it u feel+hear that internal classic cheap-tech-inside-of-device shaking. Also, if u accidentally press against either side of it even extremely lightly like with ur finger, the connection will get minutely severed very quickly, not a big deal but an added sign of cheapness being quite apparent. I’m using mine to connect the PS5 headset to my iphone since it requires connecting to the Bluetooth usb stick instead of actual Bluetooth. The audio quality is perfect and I’m not seeing any lag or low speed connection as far as data transfer goes. The thing works, but if u want it for things like I’m doing instead of just camera photo transfers like it’s probably only for, it might be worth spending a couple more dollars on something more quality.

Worked for my project. Normally this adapter is used to allow digital cameras to connect to a 4th generation iPad. With an empty USB A 3.0 drive, I emulated the directory structure of an iPhone and placed image files in the folders, after changing the image file names to ones that an iPad will accept. The USB connects to the adapter which connects to the iPad, the iPad "thinks" a camera is connected to it. I am able to import and view image and video files (JPG, MOV), taken from my Linux desktop computer, on this old iPad, without requiring a cloud service or iPhone.
