Perfect for making cold brew coffee! ☕️
I purchased these to make cold brew and they're better than I imagined. They're sturdy and don't tear, even with a squeeze after steeping for 48 hrs. I do wish they were a tad bit bigger. I use about 1 cup grounds per 1/2 gallon of water and I split the grounds into two bags because one is too small. A tight double knot of the string secures the grounds in and I've never had grounds in the bottom of the pitcher.10 out of 10.

Cold Brew Coffee!!
Wow I hunted forever to find a good situation for making cold brew coffee and this is the best I've found. I've tried french press, mason jars, mason jar filters, high pressure presses, and this is the best way I've found. Put your grounds in here, close it tight, let it sit in water 15 hours, add water additional water until you have the right consistency. Can't get any easier. I use 6 ounces of grounds and 30 ounces water, 15 hours brewing, throw out the bag and grounds, pour the concentrate into a standard mason jar, fill with water to the top. Gives you about 7.5 cups of cold brew. I drink a cup and a half a day for 5 days.

We press coffee and the grinds always made a mess. These bags are amazing and no clean up

Smaller than expected
These little bags are described accurately and don't affect the flavor of what you're using them for. As far as I know, there's nothing chemical or artificial in the material they're made from and material is strong. My only complaint, they are a lot smaller than what they look like in the pictures. They worked for my intended purpose; not having to clean coffee grounds and getting coffee sludge in my cup when using a French press. I think presses are good but the sludge at the bottom of my cup and then the grounds clean up is plain aweful. My press sits collecting dust next to my easy Nespresso. I thought there has to be another way. I went through a lot of different products. These have good reviews and seem to fit my purpose. When I first opened them, I thought they were maybe folded. They weren't. They are precisely the size of a Lipton tea bag. Even my herbal round tea bags are bigger. There are a lot in the 2 ziplock bags they're packed in. I only used 1/2 of one of the bags for an entire 11oz can of coffee. I used a small funnel to fill. That's the best way wo making a mess. The BEST thing was after using about 6 bags in my press, no sludge and no grounds to clean up):) For the first time I had good French press coffee. The bags are strong, no grounds seeped through at all. No effect on flavor. All I had to do was empty the bags in the garage and rinse out the pot. I gave 4 stars bc of the size. If they were bigger I'd give them 5. I definitely recommend but just be aware of the size.

Love these for my cold brew
I make 64 ounces of cold brew using two of these bags. They are great. They don't leak (Tie the drawstrings into a knot). Allow them to soak for 12- 24 hours. Toss is the trash when done. I tried composting the bags, but they do NOT compost.

Great for cold brews
Great for cold Brew coffees. I fill about two of these per 64 oz pitcher and cold Brew for a day. Gives a very smooth, not bitter, not acidic taste.

Cold Brew Coffee Game Changer
Been a cold brew game changer since I've discovered these. Their super easy to use, store, and tie up tight so no grounds leak into my cold brew. I use this along with a 32oz pitcher and call it a night. I just put a few scoops of coffee into one of these pouches, drop it into a pitcher of water, and the next morning I have great cold brew! The quality of these little pouches is great and makes my life so much easier when tossing the grounds. No more pulling out a built in mesh system, having to clean every bit of grounds out of it before putting it back. This really is the easiest way to make my overnight cold brew. The bags are perfectly sized for the amount of cold brew I make everyday.

A sad day for this coffee drinker...Try tea?
So I was so excited to be able to purchase these on Amazon to finally be able to make coffee bags. Upon the first couple of uses, I was thinking maybe I over-filled the bags, ao I adjusted to half filled. I tried cold water, boiling water, even room temp but the result was less than desirable. They are very durable, and easy to use. I haven't had any of the bags leak, and the coffee grounds stay in the bags. I am using a drip 12 cup grind type of coffee. I will be trying coffee ground for a french press next to see if it works better. I cannot tell if the flavor is affected, as I am currently drinking a brand I don't typically drink until my other comes in the mail. You can't pour any temp of water into a cup and place one of these filled or half filled and expect it to behave like a tea bag(I thought they would). These float! You can't pull it up and down and expect it to make a cup of coffee(I thought it would). You cannot let it steap like tea and expect it to work(learned the hard way). So, the only way I have found (So far) that works to use this for coffee with this grind is pouring water into a coffee cup, placing the bag into the cup(make sure it has soaked up water) directly into the microwave. 1 minute and 45 seconds and it will brew a cup of coffee. The drawback is, you will smell kind of burnt coffee as the top of the bag will be brown(burnt? Idk). I will change my review after trying the french press grind. Fingers crossed it works better. I really want(and need) these to work better.
