Stays on your skin for a good amount of time. I am fair skinned and only need 1-2 applications for 4-6 hours in the sun.

This is the perfect size to keep in your bag or car, so you always have it with you. And you can travel with it!! Love that it easily rubs in and has a great feel. I just keep re-buying all the Dermatone products as they are excellent for the environment and for our skin. They don’t test on animals either. Win for everyone!!

A must have for outdoor activities. I took a tube on an epic spring skiing trip to Alta, UT. Nearly 60 degrees and extreme bluebird day. Dermatone Sport 50 kept me from scorching. Thanks Dermatone!

I love the smell of this lotion and it smells very good- what I like most is that if feels like I am putting on my daily moisturizer, and it feels GREAT!!

I’ve been using Dermatone for years. It’s one of the few sunscreens that don’t irritate my skin. Sometime around 2019 and 2020 the product disappeared. I love this sunscreen so much I sent an email asking what was going on. Heard back they were bought or some such and hoped to be back on the shelves soon.I was excited to see it had returned and I eagerly bought again. Unfortunately this is NOT the same sunscreen. It’s now HEAVILY scented with coconut like a tanning oil from the 1970s. Yet, they’ve kept all their claims. It’s NOT the same product.I have scent allergies. Plus, I mainly used this product for backpacking in bear country. Heavy fragrances attract bears to your campsite at night.To whomever bought this company. Bring back the original formula. It was one of the very best.Equating sunscreen with the smell of coconuts is something from 40 years ago.

The fault is mine and not the company or the seller. I have a fragrance free version of this in a small tube that I love. I did not realize this was scented and therefore not usable until I opened it.

Dermatone is a trusted name in our house for skin protection. My boyfriend gets allergic reactions in the sun and heat, and I am exceptionally fair and blessed with eczema and rosacea, so sunscreen is a must for us all year round. He has oily skin, and I have combo skin, so we are always trying different sunscreens to see what suits us best.During the cooler months we settle for spf 30, but during the warmer months we use spf 50, so we have both of these products in our homeThis sport sunscreen is sweat resistant. It’s got the consistency of a thick lotion, not quite a cream. It melts down rather quickly, creating a non-greasy layer atop the skin.I did not witness any noticeable white cast on either one of us. This left me with a glow but I did not feel oily. My boyfriend, while he didn’t feel oily right away definitely noticed oiliness within a couple hours.A double cleanse at the end of the day ensures no clogged pores or irritation to the skin.Sunscreens in general are expensive, especially ones that you can use on the face that don’t leave you looking like a fry cook. I have paid more for smaller volumes and don’t think that $14-$17 is too crazy of an asking price.This is a great long-lasting water-resistant formula in a travel sized tube that doesn’t make us too oily.I will add that this is pretty heavily scented which I don’t care for, but if that’s something you cannot tolerate then pass on this.
