I really love the design of them. The color is perfect as well with the navy blue and the subtle line pattern. What I don’t understand is why they absolutely stink, like some sort of a chemical smell. That is very off-putting when you first get them. They just smell terrible right out of the box and it’s a strong scent.I was able to wash them which did help but it does make me a little apprehensive. I haven’t had many issues since I first washed them. I do highly suggest throwing them in the wash right when you get them.The material is soft which is a plus. To me, they don’t feel like 100 percent cotton but I’m not an expert at this stuff. I think the feel is more of a microfiber feel than cotton. That being said I still really do like these pillowcases. The size is fantastic as they’re really large in the king size. I can fit my largest pillows in these with ease.Overall I think these are nice but I feel like the price point is too high. In all fairness, it’s competitively priced compared to other brands but the initial presentation is weak with these. Like I mentioned in the beginning they smell horrible when you first get them and they come in a pretty standard brown box. The look is where these sheets really shine to me. The softness is mediocre, not impressive but also not bad either.

I have a set of 2, navy blue striped king sized pillow cases. They were packaged in a nice, slim box. Pleasant presentation- makes it gift worthy. These 300 thread count 100% organic pillowcases are dense, smooth, and a little firm. I won't say rough, as they are smooth, but they have a density that makes them less pliable (crisp?) out of box than a more gauzy, weak style pillow case. They may loosen up though washing. Some cottons simple get softer over the course of a few washings (think of of your 100% cotton tea towels/dish towels and how they can be dense/firm to start then soften up with washing, which is good thing).The pillow case is a sleeve style. Just slip pillows in. No end cap "envelope" to hold them in (not that I even have pillows that fall out, so I kinda prefer this simple style)I have not noticed any smell. Among the reviews, I'm curious why some smell and some dont?I like these, and they are working out well in my bedroom. I am a big fan of high thread count sheets and pillow cases. And, I needed an extra set of pillowcases so figured I would try this.I like the idea that the cotton used is 100% GOTS certified cotton. But the thread count is only 300. Maybe I am a pillow case snob (oh the horror!) but they are just not as soft as I would like. I have a 600 thread count sheets and pillow cases which I love and I can totally tell the difference. But, most off-the-shelf sheets you get at a department store are 200 thread count, so these are much better than those.The material soft and the stitching / seams seem to be very well done. I suspect these will hold out well. After my next washing, I'll switch these out to use in my guest room.For the price, these are decent quality and affordable.

I like these Tissaj King Size Pillow cases quite a bit. I got the dark navy-blue color which has alternating stripes of dark blue with a darker, almost black, blue. It's a very rich, deep color. I've had others with alternating colors like this where you could feel the different texture between the color bands (which I did not like), but with these Tissaj pillow cases, I could not feel anything but the softness of the cotton fabric.I washed these with no special care or treatment in warm water dried on high. They came out very well, soft and not wrinkly. The initial sheen is gone, but the fabric is very soft and smooth after washing, quite comfortable. I did wash them with some white kitchen towels and some dye came off on one so I do suggest first washing be with like colors or other dark colors.
