Does *not* come with the frying pan
I bought this because I thought it would be a good deal with the kit and the coffee press together. Well, it does NOT come with the frying pan lid. Amazon was great about returning it though, so I will be buying the pot/frying pan and coffee press seperatly. I would give 5 stars because I do think this is a quality product, but the description could be more helpful, so I took off 1 star.

Works as intended
It is functional. For the price it isn't a bad deal at all. Just don't expect to use it for long. There is an issue with the pour spout, it dribbles. Being made of such a light metal, coupled with the skinny and tall shape, makes for an inefficient cook pot. The base isn't big enough to accept much heat, and the sides wick all that heat away into the wind. Even using a windscreen that goes all the way to the handle, boiling water takes too long.I have since upgraded to a larger diameter heavier pot (the Msr Alpine Stow-away) and the difference is night and day. Even though this pot is twice the size and weight, it's worth it to cook twice as fast. With the same stove, an adjustable soda-can alcohol stove. I'm using half as much fuel for the same amount of work. The base of the Primus pot is just to small to be a good heat exchange, while the side walls act like cooling fins thereby sucking all the heat from flame up the sides instead of into your water/meal... Maybe if you used a turbo-jet single point heat source, but then the food would burn before the rest got hot without continuous stirring. To sum things up because I'm dragging on. This will make coffee. It can be cooked in. It doesn't pour. It takes too much time/fuel to cook. Great to start-out with if your not sure whether this whole out-doors thing is for you, just remember that there are much better alternatives if you move to higher price points.

Superb Camp Set
This cookset is light and durable, distributes heat well and is well balanced which is necessary as it's on the larger side. Both pots and the fry pan are non-stick and cleans up easily.I have used all three pieces and they can handle just about anything you throw at it. I have made pancakes, stir frys, and even stew on an alcohol burner. All delicious.Although it spreads the heat well, you may need to stir your food while cooking a little more often as it may burn in spots due to the thinner gauge of the metal used in order to keep the weight down.Perfect for camp cooking, or car camping but light enough for backpacking. They are 3-4 person size.

Primus
Others say it pours bad...and it does. It will make a mess. To remedy this problem ditch the lid when making coffee. The press will let some grinds through but it still works pretty good. It's light yet plenty big enough for press with handle unscrewed, canister and stove, and sealed with the lid.

it ok, not great
As a pot this thing works ok. As a coffee press not so ok. The top is plastic, it lets even coarse grinds through and does't seal very well. It also pours really really bad. I wasted so much coffee and made a mess EVERY time I used it. I will keep it and use it for a pot but will keep searching for a good coffee option in the future

Great pot/frypan set
I use this camping with a penny alcohol stove. The small amount of alcohol in a fully charged stove is sufficient to take 1.3 liters of water to a rolling boil. I feel that the shape and bottom design had a lot to do with this. It is light enough for backpacking with when the group size is sufficiently large enough to require it.

For those that need their coffee
I was please with the coffe press overall. It wil give two big cups of java. It is extremely light weight. Great for backpacking. As always Amazon delivers in perfect condition at almost lightening speed. Ashley

Shows wear after first trip.
When I got it, there was a small indentation on the bottom of the pan, from what looked like the handle. I was leaving on a camping trip in a few days, that I bought this specifically for. After three uses on the trip, the Teflon is already wearing through right where those indentations were. I was very gentle cleaning it after each use with soapy water and a microfiber cloth. The other pots worked and look just fine, it is just the pan that did this. Very disappointed in the pan.

Fantastic non stick
If you want a set of pans for camping, these are fantastic. Light weight too.Well built, going to last, and easy to clean too - ideal when the kids are on washing up duty! The non stick is the best I have seen. Scarily effective. Quite spooky really. Why can't all pans be this good?So why only 4 stars? Two reasons:1) the handle / grabber sratches the outsides of the pans where it grips them - not something I've ever seen on a trangia cooker, so the clearances need looking at2) you need to keep the little sleeves / plastic discs to protect the non stick when the pans and the handles are packed away again, not a major issue, but you can see these small items getting lost over time - or blowing away if not careful

Good pans, the non stick makes them very easy ...
Used for a week family camping holiday. Good pans, the non stick makes them very easy to clean. The two pans are big enough for good old spaghetti bolognaise for I would say 3 adults, you would struggle to cook enough for 4 hungry people. Plenty for us two adults and our 3 year old.Could do with another lid, one that fits on either of the pans or the frying pan somehow? When you stack them away for storage I'm paranoid about the bases scratching the non stick as they have ridges underneath, so I use a small square of cloth to go inbetween.

High quality products
I always buy Primus for camping. The non-stick is tough and the products are thoughtfully designed. This pan set includes a lid which can be used on the pans but is too small to be used on the frying pan. I personally wouldn't use a lid on a frying pan but I know some people do like to use one so if you are one of these people I suggest you use a plate to cover it. As ever with Primus the design is spot on. The frying pan handle folds away under the plan for stowing and it locks in place at a comfortable angle when in use. The pan handle has rubber grips on it so the non-stick surface of pans you use it on do not get damaged when you are using it. All in all a top set of Primus products.
