The box looks incredibly good, the paint work on it is very intricate and clean. Love that it's not completely flat, there's depth to each face. Was tricky figuring out how to open it, but very satisfying to figure out. For the price this is an incredibly good replica, I can't stop fidgeting with it. Highly recommend to fans of the movie or DBD.

Whilst the instructional video is helpful (and for me, necessary) it isn't as easy as it's made to look, but that's not really a surprise. With small hands I doubt I'll ever manage it one handed as claimed but it certainly works.I honestly suggest that those giving 1 star because it doesn't separate just haven't got the technique yet; without the video I tried for 30 minutes and wondered if mine was so stiff I'd need to tap it loose with a hammer the first time (at least). Even watching the video and trying for 5 minutes got me nowhere; then a little section started to move and with a bit of thought and more watching, I slid the sections apart as shown and recombined them smoothly finding the 'mechanism' not stiff at all but actually rather slick and smooth.Just remember:1) It's not supposed to be a massive challenge; if it was they wouldn't tell you how to do it2) It's tricky if you don't watch the video... and take it calm and slow (I suggest if you can't do it let another couple of people try and see if one of them has that 'knack' you just weren't finding3) They've sold a lot of these and there aren't that many Cenobites so wait your turn ;)Overall 4/5 stars for a good balance of tricky but doable, but a little undersized compared to the movie and a little plasticky... and I don't think young ages like 1 will appreciate it even if it is safe (actually the corners woud be arather sharp for a child, especially if used to bash another child!Certainly more than worth the money (I believe it used to be £20 but is only £16 now)P.S. Nice little hidey hole because the middle is hollow if nobody else in your household knows the trick but you do!

Arrived today. Good weight, nice feel and good size. So pleased with this purchase.The puzzle came apart no problem, smoothly and easily. It was simple really after watching a video on YouTube beforehand (just hold two segments that are next to each other on the box and pull with right hand and push with left, if it doesn't work push with right and pull with left - make sure your fingers are on ONE segment each or it won't work. Hope this poor description might help someone.)As a horror fan I am so happy with this box. So good that it comes with a display stand too. If you're unsure if you should buy, I would recommend this product highly for any horror fan. Not really designed for puzzle box enthusiasts who like complex puzzles as it is so simple to do, it's really aimed at anyone who likes Hellraiser.Not suitable for young kids due to sharp edges (you know how kids love to hit each other over the head with things), I would say ages 12+ to be on the safe side. If they're younger, why the hell do they want the Lament Configuration from Hellraiser and why are you encouraging it??? ;)In the pictures you can see the box in my (large) hand and next to a 50p coin for scale.No sign of Cenobites yet but when I opened the box my dogs appeared!!!My Verdict 10/10 - Hope this helps in making your decision to buy easier.

I’m a hellraiser fan and saw this.to be honest I ordered it then started regretting it the next day.but when it arrived I was pleasantly surprised,it’s actually a really nice ornament for my house.really solid and looks very nice on its stand.so yes I’ve gone from regret to actually being very happy I bought it 👍👍👍

As an actual puzzle, this is rather too simple and single-use. As a souvenir to sit on the desk or terrify grandkids it is ace. Very impressed with the quality, weight and print / paint. Very pleased with this and it prompted me to sit down and rewatch some of the movies. All good.

The design's of the style of the Hellraiser puzzlebox although not identical to the the prop. The pics shown seem to show the stand as yellow however it's actually the same colour of gold as on the box so it may be a lighting issue. It's basically 2 parts you can separate and turn to reslot into a different shape. Really, really tight but persevere and watch videos and you'll get there. Once opened I dabbed a bit of treadmill lubricant on mine and now it separates much more easily. Decently solid and for the price it looks pretty good.

I thought it was rubbish, then I watched the video and now it's my favourite thing ever.Takes a few goes to get it moving. Again, the instruction video is a must.And to think.... I hesitated.
