Comfortable but very cheaply made. It slides off he toilet seat. I had to throw it in the trash, it was a safety hazard.

Perfect example of “ya get what ya pay for”… spent about $25 on this seat and it’s not even worth $5. Very thin, hardly any cushion. Seems like it’s cardboard inside. Bends really easily like it’s gonna snap, the lid especially. Spend a little more and get a better one.

I have had this toilet seat for 2 1/2 months. Only used by me. It is already breaking. Very poor construction. I’m beyond disappointed.

This cushioned seat is lighter-weight — that is, less substantial — than the one it is replacing, which I got in-store at Home Depot a couple of years ago, so it will probably wear out faster. Also, the bolts were easy enough to attach, but not as easy as the previous ones, which had a bigger diameter, nuts with tabs that fetched up against the toilet so they didn't have to be held tightly, and a clever design that allowed me to replace just the seat while leaving the bolts in place. Cushioned seats wear out faster than solid ones, of course.

Excellent choice

I ordered this seat previously. It was wonderful and comfortable and sturdy. So when I needed another for a second bathroom, I went to Amazon and clicked "order again." Well, what I received this time was a piece of junk. Very think, lightweight, wobbly, just like cardboard, and already had ripples in the soft covering. I assume when I say "Order Again" (within a reasonable time period from my last order) that I would get the same item. Not so. I don't know if they substituted or if the manufacturer has completely changed their quality control or specs, but I will never order a toilet seat from any Amazon vendor again. If my son hadn't already installed, I'd have returned. Don't waste your money.

I was unhappy with quality. The quality is supposed to be good and it’s not. Very cheaply made. As I installed the seat a piece broke on it then now the rest of the seat is breaking down and the cushion part barely has cushion. I have never been dissatisfied with product like I am now. It’s no point in returning the seat because who wants to return a toilet seat that’s been used and that’s unsanitary. But I will never waste money on this product again because that’s exactly what it was a waste of money.

Works great for the outhouse keeps you but warm on cold days

I purchased this Cushioned Toilet-Seat-with-Lid to replace one that we have had for several years. I was extremely disappointed to find how poorly made this new one was. Both the lid and the seat are very thin, each measuring only 3/4 of an inch. The lid and the seat are made from 1/4 inch cardboard or pressboard sandwiched between a layer of 1/4 inch foam above and below with a vinyl covering. The seat and lid were very bendable, and you couldn't sit on the lid when it was down. Then, about a week ago I noticed that one of the four plastic tabs that separates the seat from the porcelain had disappeared (flushed down the toilet?). Obviously it had not been glued on properly. Now the seat sits askew on the toilet. I paid $45.27 (incl GST) for this piece of junk. BUYER BEWARE!
