Practice makes perfect.
Updated to 4 stars after some practice. Make sure the bottom of the cherry is securely in the bottom of the cup and the pit will push all the way through. Easy to use, however frequently the pit will not be removed and the design does not allow visibility of “misfires “.

I broke down and bought this last summer after my toddler decided that she loves cherries. Manually cutting out the pits took forever and was such a mess. I tried other "hacks" with straws and such, but nothing really worked well. This makes the pitting process quick and easy. Easy to use
This just punches the pit right out of the cherry, leaving a hole through the middle. It works pretty easily and makes processing cherries a lot quicker.
