48" Sleeper Sofa Bed Shield

Not sure why so many bad reviews but this thing is great . It’s sturdier than cardboard and made of plastic. Cardboard is dirty and collects mites. It’s a bit overpriced but worth it . Didn’t feel the sofa bed bars at all with this thing and the new foam mattress. Wanted to give a good review bc I was hesitant to buy this because of all the negative reviews . You have to take it off before folding sofa but it stores fine right underneath the sofa. I’mTall and over 200 lbs and it was fine

This is made of corrugated plastic and is a terrible value. It is not custom designed to support a sofa bed, it is simply plastic sign material that is fragile and will not withstand the weight of a person. I would not recommend this at all.

Don’t get me wrong this did help a little bit but there’s nothing fancy or complex about this it is a thick sturdy piece of cardboard would’ve returned but the return shipping was more of a hassle than it was worth

To be honest, I was iffy when I received it. It's really just a better material then an ordinary cardboard box. That said, we have been using it on the sofa bed with our new mattress, and what a difference. The bed is now flat, no sinking areas, and makes the mattress even more comfortable. We heard that it elongates the mattress's life, and so far I understand why. So if you are going to get a new sofa mattress, buy this as well. I only give it 4/5 stars because again, it is a high end cardboard acting as a box spring. Easy to store. Easy to maintain and assemble quickly under the mattress. Literally- unfold, lift mattress, and put underneath, and set mattress.

I bought this over a year ago for a guest sofa bed. My niece just stayed with us and we pulled out our sofa bed. She was amazed at how comfortable she slept and never felt “the bar” I had to come back and give a review it’s remarkable what appears to be a piece of thin corrugated cardboard can do! It really makes a difference! And such an easy inexpensive way to upgrade your sofa bed.

Doesn't work very well. Needs to be thicker. It's like nothing is there to support.

I was reluctant to purchase because some of the reviews, decided to take the chance, I’m glad I did. It works very well, it’s sturdy and very comfortable. Very pleased

This really made our pull- out couch more comfortable. We’ve had multiple guests sleep on this bed who have been happy. Great value.
