When we are cooking or preparing a dinner for our fanmily or friend, we have to put the meat out of the frigerator hours in advance. Cuts Thaw Time Down By Half
We often buy frozen boneless, skinless chicken breasts in bulk, so I was curios to see if this tray could help us cut down some of the thaw time before dinner. I placed 2 of the frozen 4oz breasts on the DOLAIMI tray and 2 more frozen 4oz. breasts on the glass tray I usually use. What I found was that the ones I had placed on the DOLAIMI defrosting tray thawed in about 1/2 the time as the ones on the glass tray at room temperature.While the tray did perform well at thawing the meat, it does not quite defrost food "within minutes," like it implies in the item description. To me that implies it takes next to no time to thaw, though you do seem to be able to cut the thawing time down by about 1/2. The tray is also pretty small. As you can see from the photos it only holds about 2 servings of meat. If you are trying to cook for more than 2 people, you'd most likely need more than 1 tray. Another issue I found with this item is that there were no instructions anywhere to tell you how to use and/or care for the tray. You just have to guess. I'd like to see more communication to the consumer on the details behind using this item.My opinion is that this item can make preparation of your frozen foods a bit quicker, but it needs some improvement on size options and the manufacturer needs to provide some sort of flyer or printing on the box to go over care and use of the item. I did receive this product for free in exchange for my honest and unbiased opinion.

An adequate tray for defrosting in half the time.
This defrosting tray from DOLAIMI is much smaller than I envisioned but it is effective for the task of thawing meat faster than it normal. I don't defrost my food on the counter so I can't compare the time frame on that, but I will say that it thaws much faster on this little tray than it does when I put frozen meat in my refrigerator to thaw. I washed my tray with soap and water and placed frozen chicken breast on it with a cutting board under it to catch the liquid from the chicken. It took a little over an hour and a half to defrost it which I was pleased with.When I received this tray it was just by itself in the box. I had no idea how to clean or use it so I just went with it. I would have been happier if I had a set of instructions to ensure I am getting the most out of this product, that is why I took away 1 star.Overall this defrosting tray does what it's supposed to. I would recommend the purchase of more than one tray if your are feeding more than a few people. For my family of 5 I will definitely need another tray to defrost enough meat for everyone.Disclaimer: I received this item discounted or free for my honest unbiased review.

Haven't tried it fully...
I was interested in this after we bought half a cow and I one I would be defrosting a lot of beef.I have yet to fully defrost anything on the counter, but perhaps that is just me wondering how this really prevents all the problems normally associated with just defrosting meat on the counter.I have used it in the fridge under my meat on a tray and it seemed to do a good job. I like it for how I use it.When I get around to actually defrosting on the counter, I will update this review!
