A great device to detect a counterfeit money. Sophisticated counterfeiters would bleach a lower denomination note then copy a high resolution laser picture of higher denomination (typically $100)."Felt tip" test would show the paper is good but not able to detect the counterfeit. With this UV light, a security bar would be detected in a different location. An excellent tool for the money. Easy and quick to use.

It WORKS, love this device. We have a huge rummage sale every Memorial Weekend and this little device sure comes in handy checking the large dollar bills for the strip. Love that on the device it gives you the placement of where the strip should be and the color that should appear, it also shows each dollar currency.Would recommend this product to anyone looking for something small, simple to use and informational and accurate!!

This works! Took it to work & instead of “the pen” we now use “the detector”. (Sure beats being taken by fake money!)

Bought two of these. They are great. Small so it doesn't take lots of room. Accurate. Definitely have come to rely on it greatly. Just hate that the price has more then doubled from my first purchase. Was only $8.95. now we'll over $19. I understand inflation. But come on.

This is a very cheaply made piece of plastic with a light in it. I guess it does what it's supposed to do, but it really doesn't look like the picture. The printing on the top is not very clear, and it's much smaller than I expected. It was the least expensive of the similar items I saw, so (as I said), I guess you get what you pay for!

Small and simple to use. Sometimes it can be a little hard to see the stripe, however the guides on top is super helpful as it shows you where the stripe should be on the money. It takes a little longer than bigger machines but for the price absolutely worth it to help in my Small Business.
