Okay DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME WITH OTHER PEE PADS. Do not try to “save money” by buying those rubber mats that “hold” the pee pads either. This pee pad works like a charm and holds up well against my 18 week old puppy (she has been using it since she was 16 weeks). She has only tried biting it once or twice. Opening it to change it out and cleaning it is very easy and not time consuming. It doesn’t slide around either. It’s a good size and fits in my puppy’s 4X4 play pen.

Three days ago I give it a one star. It initially didn't work but I changed my mind. The product has a good enough hold on the pee pad for his age and size so I suppose he gave up on trying to pulling it. I had to train him to leave it alone without quitting. Eventually he learned. It didn't take long. In both scenarios, he used the potty (Because he could feel the pee pad). I ordered the one with the grid (different product) just in case the teenage phase brings a new level of rebellion but I don't need it. Don't hesitate to get it if he is new to potty training and has never chewed a pee pad before. Also if you're willing to train him to not chew it, get it. 5 stars because it's a good product and it's a given that one must train their puppy 😂 Previous post: Honestly sad because I was excited for it to work. As some other say, the concept is good but it's a new challenge for him and he thinks it's a game. He will use it like a regular pee pad but he also tries to eat it like one. I'm near giving up 🤷🏽‍♀️ I also tried training him to not do so but he is persistent. What I did was used a grass pad but I don't like the chore of cleaning it. Then I used the base of the grass pad and taped the pee pad to it. He left that alone but it's too much work to tape. Someone on YouTube tapes the pee pad to the holder from the top. That seemed to work for her but I feel like it's just introducing me to a new level of work again. Maybe if I started him up with this instead of the loose pee pad it would have worked.

I used this to transition to one like it that has a grid top. Originally I got this hoping it would prevent my puppy from chewing up her p pads. Well it didn't. But when it's all said and done we used it and then got one that had the grid top as well. Evenyually, my girl made a complete transition to the new one with the grid top. I love it! She did well and now it's second nature to use the frame with the grid top. Was very leary, but this is great!

When I purches this for 12 bucks I was sure it would be a waste. But what's 12 bucks. Its perfect it hold the pad so my dog fold it all up an pee and poop in the floor.

Took my pup a bit to get used to it but did it. Easier for clean ups and no pee or poo on the floor💅🏻

My pup can no longer rip his pad to shreds! Lol
