Cartier /anglais Paperback – Import, October 30, 2007

After viewing the "Carier and America" show at the Legion of Honor in San Francisco I had to get this book. It includes most everything we saw at the exhibit plus more. The history of Cartier and the people who commissioned pieces and more are included. And of course there are the pictures! Exactly what you want, large, clear, detailed beautiful pictures. This is the only book you need for everything Cartier.

This is in my modest opinion the best book about Cartier. Amazing photos with fine text. Much more than the classic coffee table book. Offers insight into the most important periods of Cartier, the designs and the artistic talents of their creators. Biographies of the artists of the famous jewelry house, recent history, famous clients and how the businesses got started. The photos are wonderful; I only wish there were more of them. A MUST!

I thought this was a great book with fabulous pictures of jewels!

The, stories are greatm abd the pictures are incredible. It's world history lesson told through jewels!! I love this book.

great price for a classic, huge, beautiful book on Cartier

This book is wonderfully broken up into chapters highlighting specific styles or products. This is a must have for anyone in the trade that need to identify estate pieces or designers looking to see what the old houses did in the past. Highly recommended.
