Can you paint the outside of this product? Looking for something to line the inside of the cabinets in my Motorhome ti help with heat

I would not paint it. It is a sponge foam. The lighter 80mil would be better to paint with the aluminum backing. Be sure to use high heat paint

I used fiberglass suspended ceiling tiles. They are somewhat rigid and easy to cut to fit. They hold their shape better than fiberglass bats will over time in a shaking, vibrating vehicle. Styrofoam will squeak and drive you crazy.

Does it not release any smell or odor what so ever, if parked outside all day in the scorching tropical heat from the Caribbean?

unfortuanty I have NO IDEA how hot the Caribbean sun gets.....We never noticed qy smell ...

Do they have an unbranded version? considering a product like this for a jeep hard top and would much rather have a solid black appearance.

The fiberglass is yellow and the plastic covering on all of it I've seen is white/off white. I believe you would need a thin plastic or cardboardy headliner. I haven't used this on a jeep.
