Great light--size weight and brilliance. I now have four and will buy more for gifts.
I was in the market for a decent key chain light. Tried a few including Surefire Titan --great light but long heavy and too much going on. Came across the Helotex and figured I'd give it a try. Good move. Does not as someone suggested take a unique and expensive battery. Just a AAA which powers an incredibly bright light. Not as bright as the surefires but is actually a great size and weight for your keychain--won't bang up your dash. I ordered a second just in case they become hard to find. Excellent choice for a key chain light and it won't cost you 50.00 or so dollars from Surefire .UPDATE: Just accidentally ran through the washing machine. Figured it was toast. Pulled it out, turned it on and wow -- lit up the room. No apparent damage but will change the battery just to be on the safe side. Well worth the money. One reviewer whined about having to buy an odd sized battery -- it runs on a AAAYou can buy a large quantity for ten or twelve bucks at Costco.

Single-Mode Superstar
Incredibly small, very bright (left my illuminance meter at the office, but at least competitive with all my AAA options), high-quality threads, super lightweight. I'm also part of the apparently small contingent that just wants a single mode light. If that's your preference, and you like a small pocketable light, can't imagine a much better option. Strong clip, too. Only critique is more of a preference issue β I do not attach lights to my keychain, so wish there was no keychain hole that prevents tail-standing. Might grind that. Will update after more long term experience, but first impressions are obviously positive. Going to buy another for the vault in case they ever go out of stock.

Poorly made with apparently no warranty.
This will be a quick review, as the light stopped working almost a month after purchase. While it worked, it was everything I was looking for in a key chain light--small, took a regular AAA battery, very bright, and had a simple on/off function (no strobe, moonlight, SOS or any other nonsense). However, as mentioned, I didn't even have this light for 3 months and it simply stopped working. My old Fenix E01, which this was meant to replace, looks like its been through a war and it functions perfectly over a year later. There is, apparently, no warranty support for this light, either. I visited the website and submitted two inquiries, and never heard back. Bottom line, save your money and go for a better-built light from a company that responds to it's customers.

VERY NICE! & BRIGHT
Really good, bright and small. For the size it is very bright, especially for one AAA cell. The size is small as I had wanted something not bulky for key ring or to attach to backpack. Most of the lights were like 3 plus inches and 3/4th inches in diameter. Not this one. Just 2-1/2 long and half inch wide.Cute, sturdy and good bright illumination. Seems well made.Steve

Awesome quality of light... not so awesome quality of clip =/
In most cases here, I wait until I get the email asking for my input on products I've purchased; not this time.I've carried a Streamlight Nano on my keys for the past year, and have encountered several irritations with it which led to its inevitable replacing.I wanted a good quality light that was compact and durable enough for every day carry, used normally obtained batteries (not 4 button cells that run between $3-$5 in stores!), has a decently powerful beam, didn't accidentally turn on in my pockets, and was ergonomic enough to operate with one hand. This Helotex K1 fit and surpassed the bill at a surprisingly economic price. I write 'surprisingly', because I'd expect a light of its caliber to be at least $5 more, but let's just keep that between us ;-)The only feature I wish it had (as with other lights in its class also...) was a push button tail cap switch, but I'm willing to overlook this for the features it has.Gripes? Yes, several. I found the included lanyard to be a bit too long for my personal preference. I'd much rather keep the light a bit closer to the keyring so it doesn't conflict/tangle in my pocket. The second and most noted... the spring clip broke after just the first week of use.Information Only - I just noticed the fine print that the AAA battery is included; IT IS NOT INCLUDED.
