I used this for an old chess set. It worked out great after adding a divider inside. The box is real wood and came perfectly sanded smooth. I applied a coat of mineral oil to look older and it turned out great. It would also make a nice gift box for any special presentation.

Works well for the purpose it was purchased. It is sturdy enough and can latch.If one wants to buy an inexpensive wood box this is a good choice.

Great for the price. Only flaw was a half-drilled hole above the latch. I’ll have to fill it before staining. No biggie. Otherwise, well built.
