Perfect Fit for Gun Work
Perfect Fit for Gun WorkThis bench block turned out to be one of those tools I didn’t realize I needed until I had it on the bench. The design is simple but thoughtful, with notches and grooves that make dealing with pins, detents, and other small parts far less frustrating. I used it while working on both a Glock and a 1911, and it kept everything stable without marring the finish. That non-marring nylon is a nice touch—it feels solid but doesn’t leave behind scuffs or scratches like metal blocks can.The size works well for most handguns, and it doesn’t take up much space on the bench. I like that it feels sturdy enough to handle repeated hammering without showing much wear. A small detail I appreciated: the cutouts are actually practical, not just decorative, and line up well with common pistol designs. If I had to nitpick, it’s not weighted, so it can slide a bit if you’re really hammering away—but that’s easily solved by putting it on a grippy mat.Bottom line: A reliable, well-made bench block that makes gunsmithing jobs cleaner, easier, and safer for your firearms.

Great Block
I finally got smart and ordered this bench block to more easily and affectively work on my various weapons. When I received my block, I used it to do a trigger replacement on a Remington 700 and some additional work on one of my AR15's. This block is very well constructed with plently of hole positions to do basically anything I need to do with my weapons. For anyone that's done a trigger replacement on a Remington 700, you know the two pins must be "punched" out and this block work out perfectly. The block I had before (lost it some how in a move) wasn't nearly the quality of material as this one. Bottom line, the price was right and the quality is great! Highly recommended...

Impressive little bench block
For the money this is a really impressive little bench block. I first wanted to buy the HK one that almost looks the same but costs almost 4 times as much. This bench block does exactly everything the HK one does just without the logo.I have used it mostly to disassemble pistols. Works great in combination with brass punches. Definitely a good buy. I like that it is fully rubberized.

Indistinguishable from the expensive one in function
As mentioned, there are a few rough edges and it isn't pretty. The uneven mold lines and swirls of presumably uneven densities of plastic are quite ugly, but not at all relevant to its function. The block is solid and after sanding down a few rough edges, it functions well. Heck, even the product photo doesn't trey to make it look better than it is.I don't as yet need all the specialized nooks and cranny's but you have and AR or 1911 my guess is that it will fit your parts quite well. For 10 bucks it is better than a block of wood and more versatile. My barrels and pistols seat on it just fine.Another caveat is that quality control might be dubious, but I got a decent one and much better looking that one in the photo.

Well made and durable. Perfect to do small work. The thank.
Thank you I like the product and it will make part of my in-house little shop. Can’t work a regular job anymore but need to keep my brain and hands working or I will turn into a vegetable. This is a nice block for the money and will help me with my little projects.

I'm happy to have purchased the block.
The only actual problem I had with the block initially was that when placed on a flat surface it wobbled regardless of which side was down. I mentioned this when I gave the package feedback and said that I could sand it flat using a disk sander if the seller thought that was OK. The seller contacted me via email and said sanding was fine and that if that didn't work out to my satisfaction then contact them and something could be worked out. I sanded both sides and now the block lays flat (and it didn't take a great deal of sanding). Also I found that the block sanded easily ... no problems there. This is the first block I've owned and so the different ways it can be used are not necessarily clear to me just yet. I'll need t do a little research on that. But I have used it successfully with a Taurus revolver in removing and reinserting a spring pin. It worked handily for that. In any case I'm glad to have it and will be glad to learn how to utilize it better in time. And knowing what I know now, I would still go back and buy it again if I had it to do over again. And FYI - one other thing that might be of interest is that the diameter of the block is less than 4 inches and is about 1.25 inches in thickness. So its small enough to be easily stored.

A must for working on pistols
I go this to go with the rest of my gun bench kit and it has mead life so much easier than the scrap piece of 2x4 that I was using. Trigger work, slide work, barrel work, is all so much easier and smoother with this. If you work on guns more than just rare occasion, this is very well worth the money to add to your kit.
