The monopod works great. The build quality is very good. It seem durable and very strong. I used it the next day to help hold a Canon Vixia HF G40 at my son's concert. It worked perfectly. This is not a paid or sponsored review. I bought it myself for the purpose of recording the concert. I plan to use it in the future to hold my Nikon D7500 with a 70-200 F/2.8 lens and think it's more than up to the task.

I really like this dirty mono pod. It is going to save me a lot of neck shoulder and back pain. I will be trying it out soon, and I am 100% sure that this is going to work perfectly I’ll let you know if it doesn’t !

Weighs more than the carbide but really sturdy and perfect for my usage....shooting birds with a heavy body and lens. I don't like carrying a tripod around and this is a great compromise. The head is perfect and can be tightened just enough to hold the lens in the right position, yet be able to move it without loosening the head.

I needed a monopod to support big lenses and the sturdiness with this one fit the bill. The weight is lighter than I expected but it's still a substantial thing.Now the shipper was a different story. Very poor packaging. Everything was loose in the box.

I purchased this to use with a very heavy lens that is a tamron 150-600. It is rated to hold 22 pounds so no worries here. I have only used it 3 times, to shoot birds and it did not disappoint . It does allow to shoot in lower light without the shake. I would highly recommend.

Quick release works well with my workflow.
