EDIT 2:Changing my review to 4 stars. The company sent me a new lamp free of charge which arrived very quickly after I responded to them (within 2 days).The new lamp works correctly. My phone is able to connect to it via the Keepsmile app and I can set the lamp color to basically any RGB value. I can also control the brightness.The app also has several pretty cool things built into it for controlling the lamp. For example, you can set a schedule for it, to be turned on or off at whatever time and color/brightness settings you want. There's also a timer section, so that you can turn it on for an hour or however long.Another cool section I just found is the Scene area. Scene has several pre-set color modes that make the lamp cycle through a pattern. For example, you can set it to "pulsating green, blue" and it'll continually change between green and blue at whatever speed you want. The pulsating modes don't instantly change the colors, it's a slow transition. Pretty cool.A couple things I'd like to see added to this controller app would be the ability to build custom color profiles in the Scene section. For example I'd like to have a "pulsating purple, cyan" mode. I understand that this kind of feature isn't simple to build though.There is one issue with the lamp - it still makes a quiet but audible buzz at all times while plugged in, whether it's on or off. The buzzing is coming from the very top of the lamp, where the lights are located at. I've never heard any LED based lights make this noise and it's present both on this lamp and the messed up one I returned. Not sure what's up with that. If it didn't buzz, I'd be rating this product at 5 stars. I don't think it's loud enough to really bother me so I probably won't return the lamp, but it is worth noting.---------EDIT:Changing my review to 3 stars due to the company reaching out to me and sending me a new lamp without charge to replace my current broken one. The company reached out about 1 day after I posted my review and did their best to troubleshoot the Bluetooth issue I was having before offering to ship me a working lamp.I will be updating this review again and increasing my rating if the next lamp's bluetooth connectivity works as expected and doesn't make a buzzing noise like the last one.-----Original review -It seems like a pretty okay light, except for the fact that the bluetooth connectivity doesn't work on it at all. I've tested it many times with various devices, unplugged it several times and plugged it back in to power cycle it, pulled the battery on the remote, all sorts of stuff. It never appears as a pairable device in bluetooth.The app also requires an account to be created for some bizarre reason.The lamp also makes a quiet but clearly audible buzzing noise the entire time it's plugged in, whether it's on or off. It does this regardless of what plugins I use, with or without a surge protector.

I love this light!! I needed a light that would light a small portion of the room because I have a toddler and a newborn. I bought this because I didn't want to wake up my toddler during middle of the night feedings and diaper changes and I didn't want a bright light illuminating entire room. I love that you can angle this toward the ceiling or up against one wall. Comes with a remote or you can adjust light settings from the stand which is convenient if I lose the remote. Has 3 color settings... Blue, red, and green on one side and 3 shades of white on the other. I saw many lights similar to this style but this one stood out because of the versatility in color and standard light setting. This light doesn't take up much space and fits in the corner so it doesn't interfere with bassinet or changing table. I usually have it set to blue for a nice ambiance which gives just enough light to see my baby but light enough so it doesn't wake my toddler. You can choose to only use the white light, color or use both at the same time. I would recommend this light and I will be ordering another light soon!

I bought this initially because it was a deal, with a coupon. The first one I got was defective. It looked like the wire inside one of pieces of the pole had been previously spliced and the light would not work. I returned it and Amazon had a replacement to me w/in 24 hours. That's why I continue to pay for Prime even though it continues to go up.Anyway, the new one arrived and I assembled it in good time. The instructions were so tiny (that's why I gave four stars) that I had to take a picture and then enlarge the photo to read them. It took me a bit to get each piece securely screwed together so that the lamp did not wobble.The instructions were useless. I did, however, get the name of the app and while I usually hate installing apps, I installed this one hoping I could learn more about the lamp. Not really. But the one thing that I was able to discern from the app is that there is a timer function. This lamp can be set to go on/off w/o needing to be plugged into a timer. I tried it last night and was pleasantly surprised when I went down to the basement this morning and it was off. As for the color-changing modes, I don't need or care about that. It provides good light in the corner of my basement and I can leave it on while going upstairs for the night and it will go off on its own. Money well spent.I will suggest, however, that if the manufacturer is going to include instructions that they make them large enough to be read. It was a waste of paper.

This is a good lamp. the bottom of it only emits white LED's which limits the brightness of the colors.

Solid quality build. The white leds are very bright and that's where your lumen count is coming from. The RGB lumen count is probably closer to like 800 lumens. So kinda dim. At best it'll colour a corner or used as an accent coloured light. The underside light is great for live streaming as it gives you an even balance of light on your face.So some pretty good upsides but for lighting a whole room in colour not so great wish it could be better. That being said this same lamp on Wayfair is 3x cost here. So this is a great deal on a pretty versatile lamp.Really just wish the RGB's were brighter.

OK it's a lamp, and it works fine.But I need an account with some mysterious company from China to use my phone to operate it ??? NOT going to happen CCP. Not giving my phone data to for a lamp, nor should I have to, nor should you.Fortunately it comes with a remote so I will use that ONLY. Deleted the app immediately.This account information stealing is just getting way out of hand, and needs to be stopped. So I did something about it.........delete ! don't fall for it!
