Natural Tasting, Real Energy
These were pretty good. I was caught off guard by the taste, but it's a good change from those gas station / convenience store brand name energy drinks that taste completely fake or full of sugar. These tasted like brewed tea with light carbonation. The flavors were a bit weird but the drink size is small, so it isn't a big deal. I tried the 6 flavor variety pack. They pretty much all had a similar taste. I would buy it again. In regards to energy, you do feel it start 3/4 through finishing the drink & it lasts a while, slowly fading. No crash though as with other ones like Monster, Rockstar, Amp, Red Bull etc.Give the variety pack a try. It's worth it.

Not redbull
For the sample pack and sale I say give it a try but def not for me. The low calorie flavors are like seltzer with no sweet taste and a bad after taste. The others are ok enough but not great. The energy effect is not as good as red bull or redbull knock offs. However, everyone has a different opinion and preference with energy drinks. Some people hate red bull, others like nos or monster etc. Mati also claims all natural, no chemicals, so if thats important to you they got that. So I say at the sale price for the sample pack, try it.

Great Healthy Energy Drink!
If you're looking for a healthy alternative to an energy drink or soda, MATI is the best choice around. It is tea-based and flavored with fruit juices, and it includes a lot of great items such as antioxidants, potassium and amino acids. Since it is tea-based, it may take a couple sips, or a can in my case, to acquire the taste, but after that, you're hooked! I enjoy one at lunchtime when I'm looking for that mid afternoon energy boost but don't want a coffee or soda. Only reason I give them a 4/5 stars is because in the sampler pack, there were 2 flavors that weren't my favorite, but Passionfruit, Peach Mango, Citrus and Tropical are the best!

Some flavors way better than others
Glad I got the variety first. Amazing how some flavors are more palatable to me than others. One I can't even take a sip of. Nice that these have juice in them. Wish they were smaller volume, like Red Bull, which I compare all energy drinks to. Ok stimulation, not as pronounced as some other brands, so for me it's more of a sip thru the afternoon drink rather than my main get going drink in the morning. Will probably buy again to put in rotation with others, but not my holy grail drink.

As a regularly consumer of Monster's Zero Ultra offerings, ...
As a regularly consumer of Monster's Zero Ultra offerings, this energy drink was quite a departure. The lack of additional sweeteners is immediately evident, as the herbal flavor from what I presume is the Guayusa hits strong and hard, as does that of the lime juice. The cherry and blueberry-pomegranate flavors are the sweetest of the bunch, which makes sense considering they contain nearly twice as much juice as the other flavors (62 percent and 58 percent, respectively.)The caffeine content is on par with a can from the aforementioned industry juggernaut, albeit without the amplifiers such as Taurine and Guarana, with their questionable health effects. The result is a gentle, caffeine buzz and alertness levels equitable to a couple cups of coffee. For those who are more health-conscious but aren't fans of coffee, and don't mind a strong, unsweetened herbal tea-like flavor, MATI Energy does the trick!

Tastes like overbrewed tea with some added sugar
I'm all for a more natural energy supplement, which is why I purchased this. I can definitely say that it gives a bit of a boost.Unfortunately, the taste of tea is a little overwhelming in this drink. So far, I've only tried the citrus flavor. It's tolerable, but not great. If the other flavors are better than the citrus, I'd consider giving it another chance. I'll update when I try them.

Exactly as advertised for better or worse
It is exactly as advertised. No sweetener added beyond the fruit juices. The gwayusca is very bitter and this needs a little honey before I can actually enjoy drinking it. Or I have to eat something sweet to wash down while I’m drinking it. Good sentiment, so close to being a perfect main stream product, needs a little honey or stevia.

So good!
Finally an energy drink I can feel good about drinking! First, the ingredients - nothing artificial, no added sugar, no sweeteners, all natural. I'm amazed at how simple and clean the ingredients are.Second, the taste. I'll be honest, the tea taste threw me a little at first (tried the Citrus first). By the end of a can I didn't even really taste the tea anymore, just the citrus. Refreshing, nice and tart, and no weird sweetener aftertaste like something like Bai.Third, the function. I thought it worked pretty well! Didn't feel "cracked out" - I just felt awake and focused. And I guess it has a bunch of antioxidants so that's a nice plus.Definitely hooked, Cherry is my favorite so far.
