Unbeatable Value
When I spotted Knorr Professional Caldo de Pollo’s whopping 7.9‑pound tub for under twenty bucks, I felt like I’d unlocked a secret Costco‑killer deal. We go through chicken powder fast—mostly to turbo‑charge weeknight “ramen”: just water, a heaping tablespoon of this bouillon, buckwheat noodles, an egg, and scallions. Ten minutes later the kitchen smells like a noodle shop, minus the mystery packets and sky‑high sodium of instant cups. It’s equally handy for a two‑minute egg‑drop soup when my wife wants something light, or a quick miso‑tofu broth that tastes like I simmered bones for hours. Flavor‑wise, it’s classic Knorr: savory, gently herby, and not overly salty as long as you stick to about a tablespoon per quart. The fine granules dissolve easily—no gritty bits at the bottom of the pot. The giant plastic container is shelf‑stable, so I scoop out a smaller mason jar for daily use and stash the rest in the pantry. A few nits: the tub is huge, so cabinet real estate takes a hit; I also wish Knorr included a measuring scoop. And while the sodium is lower than many ramen packets, it’s still bouillon—taste as you go or you’ll oversalt. Overall, this Caldo de Pollo is a budget‑friendly flavor bomb that stretches across countless soups, stews, and quick meals. If you’ve got the space to store it, the value is unbeatable.

Love this product, best bulk buy ever!
Best buy ever! I got a 3 pack that had this, the chicken and the beef. I've found we LOVE the tomato chicken blend. When I went to repurchase a single much smaller container at the time was 7-8 dollars for 3.5 oz. However, THIS one was over 2 pounds for 15 bucks. This should last me a few years. I've decanted it into mason jars with screw on lids and it should last indefinitely. Very happy with this product!

Check EXPIRATION Date
I use Knorr Chicken Bullion Powder in the place of salt. I LOVE it! A little goes a long way so use sparingly. One of my subscribers told me to check the expiration date, I did. I bought it January 2022 and it expired February 4, 2022. I’m just now noticing. It’s now 2025 and I’m upset. I want A new FRESH batch sent to me.I still have 5 stars because I do love it.

Amazing, shelf-stable chicken bouillon. Complex flavors, works in a variety of applications. A+
I purchased this for the second time recently. The first time I purchased it was during the pandemic, so I would have plenty of bouillon for cooking. I ended up falling in love with the versatility of this product. I use it in sauces, soups, as a salty additive to gravy, even adding it to dry rubs and frying batter. The chicken flavor is authentic, and it goes beyond the one-note of chicken stock. This has the complexity of herbs and spices, so it enhances anything it gets added to. The shelf stability of it is amazing. I have been able to use it for years now and only now started to run out, 4 years later. Now I have another one to last me even more years!

Amazing Bullion!
One of the items was damaged and Amazon refunded me right away. The other container was perfect so it was not all lost. This item is amazing and I live using it in out food truck!

Best Powdered Chicken Broth
I've used this in soups, rice, potatoes, pasta sauce...it is such a flavorful salt substitute for savory recipes because it's so tasty (and quite salty). It'd be great in chili. It's a huge container. Really, this is a cheap way to make basic ingredients tasty. I'm happy with the quality. It's much better than most bouillon I've tried. I do wish the salt content was lower so I could add more to recipes but I'd buy it again.

Absolutely love it!
This review is for Knorr Professional Caldo de Pollo, Bouillon with Chicken Flavor Granulated Bouillon as a Base, Marinade, Flavor Enhancer, Shelf Stable Convenience, 0g Trans Fat, 7.9 lb (Pack of 1).This is the first time I've used this particular chicken bouillon and I'm hooked! I cook most things from scratch and while I'm not a snob that will only use name brand items, if you want great quality food you do need to use good quality ingredients! I've always used the powdered chicken bouillon from Big lots, it has a nice mild flavor and it's just what I've been used to using to make homemade chicken noodle soup, homemade chicken & noodles, chicken gravy...I used the Knorr to make my homemade chicken noodle soup and OMG! I could not believe how much better it was, and my mom totally agreed! The price here on Amazon beat the price from anywhere else too! Another issue I had with the Big Lots brand was if you weren't careful about how much you used, using too much made your dish too salty if you tried adding some more to get more chicken flavor. That was not an issue with the Knorr product!I also love the better than bouillon brand of flavor stocks, this was just as good if not better, and just as easy to use! I have an old Tupperware shaker mixer bottle, I just put some of it in there with some water and shook it good to mix it well, no clumps at all and then mix in my pot of water with all my other ingredients... after a couple of hours I taste tested and added a bit more mixing the same way and it was perfect! When I make it I make a huge pot, then divvy it up into containers after it cools and freeze some of it.I highly recommend this product! I could swear when I ordered this the regular price was like $27.00, but that may have been Walmart's price. In any case I paid $ 18.98 for the huge 126.4 ounce tub! Which is going to last me a good long while!

Good product
I love the taste of this beef bouillon in powdered form. I can heat up a 12 oz cup of water with 1 1/2 teaspoonfulls of this powder and I have instant beef stock. It's a great snack when you're cold and have the nibblies, but don't want to have anything heavy. Or you can add thin spaghetti, vegetables and a source of protein to make a lovely soup
