im honestly to lazy to bust my camera out for it but the flame is quite long for anyone who wants to know and ofc the pristine quality of the zippo brand is carried nicely. The lighter is functional, pretty, and most of all just feels real damn nice to use!

You may be on a quest for a good lighter. The zippo lighter solid brass is made of brass on the shell and it looks like the actual lighter insert is brass too. This lighter will last a lifetime with proper maintenance. You also get a lifetime guarantee.If you don't want to use a kerosene based lighter insert there are several Zippo made inserts with butane and different flame types.I have bought several other lighters before I got this one and I regret buying anything other than a zippo.It is a classic lighter, well made, and of all the products still made in the USA most have gone under dramatic price increases over the past several years while Zippo lighters seem to be as cheap as they have always been. One of the best values in the market! I support made in USA and it is hard to find affordable products still being made in USA.In terms of finish it is brushed with a very nice brushing. The polished surfaces have some machine marks. If you want a perfect finish you may want another version. I highly recommend the solid brass version since there is no plating to wear off. That being said I have never had the chrome finish ever wear off but I just prefer solid brass.There is a copper version of this lighter which I want but is much more expensive. For the cost, the solid brass Zippo is probably the best value out there.

The lighter does have a brilliant gold shine to the brass, but the whole thing is covered in clear coat, a plastic glossy film that feels like a painted ceramic mug. The upside to this is the metal won't oxidize and lose its shine. The downside is it feels like plastic and you can't force a patina on it like I planned. I just wish they had mentioned this in the description because if I want to do that now I have to sand off this finish. Other than that it works as expected.

Perfectly elegant lighter for any occasion. I love my Zippo, and I'm sure if it could speak it wouldn't say the same about me considering how much I use it already. All that it needs when it arrives is a little lighter fluid, then it's ready to rock. Very sleek look, I'm a huge fan of brass, and very classically American. God I love Zippo.

I've tried buying a couple of Zippos in the past off of Amazon and thankfully their return process is very easy and worry free. I went with the tumbled brass armored. It was beautiful right out of the box and it did look brand new. The insert was the perfect size for a snug fit no wobble or anything which I've had issues with in the past and has been a reason for my returns. I think I'll be keeping this one. Good looking lighter great quality feel. I'm happy with my purchase.

Besonders edel auch der schwarze Einsatz in gewohnter Zippo Qualität.Perfekt für den Einsatz im Alltag!Aber leider für Sammler mit Hang zum Perfektionismus ungeeignet! Die Gründe hierfür könnt ihr den Bildern entnehmen! PATINA - Patina entstanden durch Lagerung und die Art der Verpackung!Die Fotos sind von zwei Zippo's und beide weissen die selben "Mängel" auf ;-)Schade, also wer sammeln will muss sich etwas einfallen lassen.Mal sehen was man von Seitens Zippo dazu sagt! Mail an den Kundendienst ist raus.

I love the brushed brass metal and the lighter works very well. Ideal for camping and feels like it'll last a lifetime. I like how the sides are polished and the face is brushed, it's a lovely design. Easy to refill like all Zippos. It has a few tiny scratches now but it really does not impact the overall look.The lighter has needed refilling a few times so it does seem to be quite thirsty for lighter fluid, but I don't mind.
