I ordered the 'red', which was slightly discounted from the 'blue'. I had a problem with the cap leaking, and ended up getting the blue cap instead. The bottom cup is wonderful, and the reason I ordered this. I wanted to have both a coffee cup for myself, and an extra cup for my dog to drink water out of on road trips, and having one cup saves so much space.The blue does not leak at all, but the red did a bit. The red cup leaking not be a deal breaker for someone who wants to use it at the office and doesn't really need a top, it's a great simple coffee mug at this price. The brushed metal exterior and interior (top cup only, the bottom cup has a plastic lining) is elegant looking and easy to clean.A review here mentioned that the cap opening screws on facing the handle. That depends on how you start screwing the cap on. If you begin screwing the cap on with the opening facing the handle, the mouth part ends up at a right angle to the handle. Unless they changed it recently, the lip opening will 'end' at different spots on the cup depending on what it is facing when you started screwing it on. Try it!Not only do I have an extra cup for my dog, I can also use the bottom cup for stashing things like cash, medication, extra sugar or condiments. So many possibilities with this cup! I love this, it is perfect!Edit: I'm talking about the 'blue' version. Again, the 'red' version I ordered at first LEAKS. This only matters if you need it to seal, but I got both, and this review is for the solid black cap 'blue' version only.

EDIT: at the time I purchased this, it was described as "insulated" and "vacuum sealed" .. which it is NOT. I spent my money because it was suppose to be insulated and vacuum sealed, which the company has now admitted it is not (and they have changed the description to reflect this.)Since they changed the description I will change my review from 1 star to 3. Only 3 as I paid for the mug as described (insulated/vacuum sealed) and it is not./EDITBeautiful product, well designed and packaged. BUT, it has absolutely ZERO insulating capabilities. My dad filled it with very hot water, let it sit, then filled it with extremely hot (freshly made) coffee. He put the top lid on and waited 3 minutes. He touched the outside of the cup and it was "as hot as the coffee I put inside" . .In a vacuum / insulated mug, that would not happen. He waited and said the coffee was room temp "a while" later (can't remember how long, but not long at all.)So, in short. Buy it as it's a nicely made mug. DO NOT BUY it if you think it will keep anything cold or hot.

I got it to have a 12 oz cup to take to the Coffee shop. The handle's a hook not a loop, so sometimes I have trouble carrying it with a bunch of other stuff. I haven't used the bottom cup yet, has anyone found a unique use for it? I do like that it's on the bottom not the top so you can keep your beverage hot and not have to drink out of the lid.

Hey I tell you what about this travel mug. super cool. warm or cold it works for. I used for 2 days and I love it. My wife took it from me and started using it. the price is really great. great band for your buck. I would surely recommend this mug to anyone. great job.

Water leaks in between the double walls during washing and sloshes around after in both the drinking and snack cups. After washing when placed upright it leaves wet marks as the liquid between the walls tries to come out from the seam at the base of the cups. Grounds for mould formation. It was a gift for someone and the gift has been returned back to me. Not happy .

It's just the right size and fits easily into cup holders. Most thermal mugs are too tall or just too big. I had been looking for a smaller mug and finally found it. It would be cool if the lid fit the bottom cup also.

I ordered one blue for my husband and one red for myself. Both came silver. One lid fits incorrectly no matter how it is started. Won’t waste money sending them back. The idea of the extra storage cup is a great idea as is the idea you can use it as mug only..

The heat escapes quickly but I do like the storage spot in the bottom. I carry Starbucks Via and packets of creamer in the bottom. This is great for work as I have a source for hot water. I just drink my coffee faster. Would be nice to store change/bills or keys in the bottom and not worry about them.
