It works straight out of the box all you have to do is mounted. I oiled it and sanded a few areas and adjust it detention but that’s it. I highly recommend buying this item. The people that sell this machine, refurbish them to working order and they specialize in shoemaking and using these machines. The price is worth it.

Great little machine for doing soles …

Ordered this machine but even after installing it as per manual it still malfunctioned.The top thread could not suck up the bobbin thread... Pieces of advices from the online community on how to fix the aforementioned anomaly have not been that handy....This purchase was a raw deal for my money and I am done and dusted with coloredpeas tools....Would not recommend coloredpeas array of tools to anyone

Don't buy this thinking it will be the same as a cobra class machine or even a singer it's not but if you know how to keep a clsp working well this is a nice step up for heavier leather and larger thread
