Great oil but over-priced.
I prefer to use Castrol Classic in my 1962 MGA. The formulation is beneficial to older flat tappet engines. However, Castrol price increases place the Classic 20W50 $16 higher than the 5-quart Valvoline VR-1. Shifting to Valvoline next oil change.

Awesome classic car motor oil
Great price on classic car oil. It has the ZDDP in with the API classification of SG.

Easy to find classic car formula for great price
Great alternative to zinc additives or running a standard oil in older flat tappet cars. I have used this and Lucas classic car formula. It feels like Lucas does a better job with cleaning and cooling, but this seems to work well too. This is cheaper usually so well worth it. Put it this way, if I can get Lucas on sale where its within a few bucks of Castrol, I'll buy Lucas. If Lucas is too expensive or too hard to get, I'll happily use the Castrol.

It's got the zinc Scotty!
This high zinc oil should do well in the older ford hot rod. It poured nice and sweet! It is high zinc for break in and such.
