I bought a hand held vacuum sealer and the vacuum bags are pricey. I decided to try these and hoped they would work with it, and WOW, worked out great!!! And these are a lot less price, same quality. I use it primarily to seal up meat, sometime adding some spices with it, and so far its all worked out great. I think your also able to reuse these, just wash them out really good, I haven't had them that long to do so, but the plastic is pretty thick, I think will be reusing some of them. But, I will also be buying more of the different sizes. I would for sure recommend these to anyone using a hand held vacuum pump.

I currently got the MuellerLiving cordless Portable vacuum sealer and went looking for more bags to use with it, as it only comes with 4 bags. These bags work perfectly with it. I use these bags to seal meats in so I can cook them with the Sous Vide. They seal perfectly, the valve for the sealer works flawlessly, and they are sturdy and don't leak. I have been using them frequently now and I would compare the stove to a quart freezer bag. They work perfectly for me - I have used them for boneless chicken, pork chops, and steak with no issues. I am so happy I was able to find them

The product is fine but the packaging was not okay. It was just wrapped in a thin peice of clear plastic. This is something that will touch food. It needs to have a better package. The plastic was so thin I was able to puncture it with just a little pressure from my finger. It was still sealed when it arrived but that was just luck.

Hold vaccum forever. Easy to use, liqids vac out not effect seal. Great buy

What a disappointment. I have a handheld vacuum sealer which works great on other types of bags, but for the life of me I can't get it to work on these. No matter the placement of the pump over the hole, it simply won't seal. Was making a big batch of ground pork today to seal up. Tried three bags with no luck. Fortunately, I had a few smaller bags left from the last batch I bought. I might be able to reuse these as storage bags for nonperishable dry goods, but far as I can tell them are useless for vacuum sealing.

At first these did not work at all, then I looked at the reviews and tried again. You have to pump the pump onto the bag (pick it up, put it down in different spots on the valve, and repeat until it starts to seal and vacuum air out) I have a food saver vacuum. This works so great! My kids hate sandwiches, so for their school lunches I pre make a bunch of meals (or pack leftovers) and put into these bags and store in the freezer, then I put the bag into boiling water and heat this up and place into their thermos! Life saver! We haven’t had a microwave for years, this makes food so easy to prep and reheat. I plan to buy a lot more and prep meals to make life even easier!
