Small but mighty
This little pump does a great job. I used it to get water out from behind my Inground pool liner. Pleasantly surprised how well it pumped.

Great pump as described, Time will tell.
I have to admit I am pleasantly surprised surprised at how effective this pump is. I have used it 4 times now for about an hour and a half each time. I would say that the flow rate is accurate and I’ll remind everyone to not only prime the pump before use, but use a cheap vegetable oil to lubricare the inlet before priming everytime. I’m using it to lower the level in a septic system out in the country in Mexico, so tough nasty service, but hasn’t missed a beat. I personally thank the company for the 2 extra kits to rebuild, as I’m sure they will come in handy.

Little engine that could
Ised a hand full of times pumping 55 gallon drums of water. Pump gets hot and a little noisey but for the money its been doing its job. Pump had a thermal shutoff, when it het over headed it semnto shut down to protect itself. So far so good.

Good for ONE TIME use.
After one use this item stoped working. I've worked with this type of pumps for over 25 years and I never had any problems. Maybe this was the dud in the batch but I would not recommend it for long term use. I followed all the instructions and after the first use I stored it properly. That was in June. Now is September and I tried to use it after adding the oil as is recommended but all I got was the pump overheating and the smell of burning rubber. No water was coming out. The sad part is that the return period is past and the manufacturers are not responding. I can't get my money back.

Fragile
Used it twice and it worked great Then it burnt up on the 3rd use Tried to use short side of hose so it wouldn’t have to run without water These are fragile

Decent little pump, especially for the price.
I live in Southern MN, and this past month (June 2023) we have had a lot of rain along with much of MN and Iowa. We ended up with water in our basement because the rain sewer couldn't take the amount of water coming in. Really wish I'd had this at that time! But now I've got it in case we have issues again. I was able to test it out on our kiddie pool and was happy with the amount of water it pulled. It ran for maybe 10 minutes, got a little warm on the backside but that's to be expected. The unit itself is lightweight, but heavy enough that I am not concerned about durability. I will mention that if you're emptying something like a kiddie pool you need to be mindful of the screen sectioning itself to the bottom, especially as it gets near empty and there's less water weight. Also, the type of hose fitting in the last picture, the type with the wing nut, will not fit. The motor casing is too close to allow that, so just a heads up. The screen is also just a press fit over the inlet hose, which is fine except that it may want to suck a little air when not fully submerged, and you need to be mindful of that when you move it around so as to not disconnect or lossen it. All in all I'm happy with this, especially for under $70. I'll update if I need to use it for flooding.

Perfect for draining waterbed
I had to drain an ancient waterbed from the 90s, and this pump was a lifesaver. It managed to drain almost every drop from the mattress with zero intervention in 20 minutes, which surprised me. The noise was loud, but not deafening. The pump comes with a collection of spare parts. It also comes with an accessory puddle suction (the triangle bit - which wasn't needed for my project). It is kind of awkward that there is no power button - it turns on as soon as it's plugged in - but a lot of transfer pumps seem to lack this feature and I just made sure everything was setup in position, and the pump itself away from water contact before plugging it in. Overall, this pump did the job fast, and without complication.

Great pump, but be careful of the motor and water
Works great and very fast - used to drain and clean a fountain. I will say its NOT water proof, and I could see someone getting shocked pretty easily if you arnt careful, as in, you do not want to get water in the motor part. For the value and it your careful, its fine.
