The giant stress ball was just as described by the seller. It is a giant stress ball rather heavy to hold and falls apart in your hand. Makes you laugh at its antics while you try to keep it whole! Impossible! So I would give it a 5 star rating as it is quiite different from old stress balls that you crush over and over in your hands. This ball is useful for adults as well as older children like age 12 to 16. . The smaller stress balls are very numerou, hard, and extremely bouncy. These are great for children who maybe have an obsession with balls. No matter who is using these balls they have to feel some stress reduction and reassurance that it would be hard to run out of these balls. They were perfect for my 12 year old grandson.

It easily exploded when my ten year old stretched it around. The orange paint splattered all over and such a pain to clean up.

I use these in my workshops as an icebreaker, and let me tell you — people will walk right past free snacks and make a beeline for this stress ball. It’s that satisfying. 😂 It’s the perfect size for two-handed squeezing, super squishy without feeling flimsy, and the rainbow color makes everyone instantly happier before they even realize what’s happening. I use it for: ✔️ Icebreakers ✔️ Stress relief moments ✔️ Nervous energy during sharing ✔️ And occasional dramatic “ARGHH” squeezing when technology fails It’s soft, durable, doesn’t leak, and actually holds up to constant adult fidgeting (which is aggressive, let’s be honest). I also love that it’s calming enough for focus but fun enough to make people laugh — that combo is gold in a room full of grown-ups. Bonus: It washes up easily and looks brand new again with a little soap and water. If you need one product that breaks the ice, calms the nerves, and doubles as emotional support during meetings — this is it. I now consider this an essential workshop supply. Here's 8 ICEBREAKERS you can use with students or at workshops: 🎯 1. Pass the Stress (Fast + Fun) How it works: Everyone stands in a circle. Toss the stress ball randomly. Whoever catches it answers a quick prompt, then immediately tosses it to someone new. Prompts you can use: One word for how today feels so far Coffee or tea? Morning person or night owl? One thing you’re hoping to leave with today ✅ Fast. Light. Gets everyone talking without pressure. 😂 2. Arggh! Confessions Perfect since the ball literally says “Arggh!” How it works: Toss the ball. Catcher finishes the sentence: 👉 “One thing that makes me say ARGHH at work is…” Toss again. ✅ Instantly creates laughter + shared trauma bonding (the good kind). 🧠 3. Squish + Think Great for calming the room and activating brains. How it works: Everyone squeezes the ball slowly with both hands for 10 seconds. Then answer a reflective prompt: Examples: One thing you’re feeling stressed about right now One thing you’re excited about this week One win from the last month ✅ Regulates nervous systems + creates connection. 🏃♀️ 4. Hot Potato With Purpose How it works: Play music. Toss the ball around quickly. When the music stops, that person answers the question. Prompt ideas: What’s your go-to comfort food? What’s one thing you’re really good at? If you had a free day tomorrow, what would you do? ✅ Zero awkward pauses. High energy. 💬 5. Two Truths & a Stretch Stress-ball twist on Two Truths & a Lie: Toss the ball to someone. They share: 2 true facts 1 thing they wish were true Group guesses which is the “stretch.” ✅ Lighthearted and fun without pressure. 🧩 6. The Silent Toss (Great for First 5 Minutes) No talking at all. Participants toss the ball silently. Eye contact only. Anyone who drops it says their name + role. ✅ Builds immediate presence, laughter, and breaks stiffness FAST. 🎤 7. Micro-Share (Perfect for Workshops) Toss ball. Answer in 5 seconds or less: One word for your current mood One goal for today One thing you love about your job ✅ Keeps it from getting long-winded. 🧑🏫 8. Teacher / Professional Version You can tailor this to your sessions: “One challenge with data right now” “One thing your students struggle with” “One thing you’re proud of this year” ✅ Feels purposeful, not fluffy.

I've had three of these things, two "giant" (they are not giant) and one small. All three have burst or leaked out of nowhere. The small one leaked blue goo all over me from multiple places about 5 minutes after I got it. I hadn't been tough with it, it literally came with holes in it already. The first giant one exploded while I was squishing it lightly, and the second one (a gift) leaked all over my coffee table, ruining several things. I played with it maybe twice ever. It mostly just sat on the table to be used during therapy, but I always forgot about it and only touched it when cleaning. A week ago, I noticed it looking like it had stretch marks, without ever having been stretched. Today, I picked it up while cleaning, and some clear goo came pouring out all over the table, some special vintage family photos I had been sorting for a memorial, my laptop, my shirt, and my rug. I don't know what it is but I couldn't get it out of the rug and it's still sticky, the pictures destroyed, my shirt is stained, the laptop is toast, and I had to wash my hands a bunch of times to get it all off. Luckily, my laptop was backed up, but I can't afford a new one. These stupid things are awful rotten trash. They are fun to play with when you are stimming or stressed, but not worth the wild amount of damage that they can do. I never handled any of them roughly out of fear of them breaking, and they broke anyway. Just pure junk. Don't do this to yourself. Don't throw your money and whatever they might destroy in the trash. Don't do it!! Edited to add: Customer service is very kind. They reached out and wanted to refund me for all 3, + send me another one of their sensory toys for free. I didn't accept because, the fact of the matter is, as fun as they are, these things leak and explode frequently. They made sure to mention this review, including a link to it (as if I don't know where it is 😆) in nearly every message, and even pointed out that the link to my review was right there, in the last message of our correspondence. You know. Just in case I wanted to access it for some reason. That's funny and transparently manipulative. That they gave me a refund and offered me a freebie doesn't change what happened. They did the right thing with their offers, it is what they are supposed to do, but the review is still the same. Don't buy these things.
