Good Fix
We bought this for our 99 Firebird Convertible because our dashboard was cracked due to heat and age. We were unsure that it would work, there are no instructions. BUT we watched a few videos from other places and used the glue that came with the cover. We did NOT remove the existing cover, we went right over it. The existing one was missing pieces and was a broken mess. The new cover at first didn't stick in place so we did use some RTV to secure it. We left it weighted for a week or so afterwards and it is holding, it looks great and for the money well worth it.

KUAFU Dash Cover for 1997-2002 Camaro/Pontiac Firebird: Solid Overlay with Minor Fitment
I recently purchased the KUAFU Dash Cover for my 1997-2002 Camaro, and overall, I'm quite pleased with the product. Firstly, the dashboard cover serves its purpose well. It effectively overlays the existing dashboard, providing a clean and uniform appearance. The black finish matches my interior perfectly, enhancing the overall look of my vehicle. Secondly, installation was relatively straightforward. The cover came with adhesive strips that securely held it in place once applied. It didn't require any drilling or modification, which was a plus. Thirdly, the material quality is decent. It feels sturdy and durable, and I expect it to hold up well over time. However, there are a couple of considerations that led me to deduct one star. Firstly, while the overall fit was good, there were minor discrepancies in alignment around the edges. This required some adjustment to ensure a seamless fit, which took a bit of extra time during installation. Secondly, the adhesive strips could be more robust. Although they held the cover in place initially, I noticed some areas where it didn't adhere as securely as I would have liked. In conclusion, the KUAFU Dash Cover for the 1997-2002 Camaro/Pontiac Firebird is a solid choice for anyone looking to enhance their interior aesthetics. Despite minor fitment considerations and adhesive issues, it provides a clean and stylish upgrade to the dashboard appearance. Overall, I'm satisfied with the purchase and would recommend it to others looking for a budget-friendly solution to refresh their vehicle's interior.

Careful buying other ones...
You can see in the first and third picture how it fits Perfect! The second picture is how it looked Before, the Last picture shows a much cheaper one, but if you notice, it has a domed edge to the right side where the original is a straight edge. If you need one, Get This to be Happy! :-D

didnt quite fit
I wouldn't recommend this product. Instead, I suggest spending a bit more on the version that comes with clips and Velcro on the back. This one is designed to overlay the existing cracked part, and while it seems to have worked for many based on the comments, it didn't work for me. No matter how much I pushed, I couldn't get it to fit all the way to the front. Was I supposed to trim it? I'm not sure, but it only fit properly when I removed the old cracked piece to make room for it. Unfortunately, by doing that, I ended up removing all the cracked pieces, which you're not supposed to do because then there's nothing for the glue to adhere to. Maybe it was user error, but it just didn't work for me. In my opinion, it's better to go with the version that has clips and Velcro and avoid the hassle.
