I got these along with a knock-off mask to see if I could replace my 3M unit with a cheaper one. Full disclosure, if it HADN'T worked, I was gonna use it for cos-play anyway. But the good news is, it seals up well, keeps the odorant out, and seems to be working against VOCs. YAY!Full disclosure, in a previous career, I did fitment testing to NIOSH specifications for painters, and had my old test kit sitting here to be able to see if the mask and carts worked. They do to what I could test them.Things I DO NOT know: Depth of Media - how long before they "gum up" and are they as good as 3M? We'll have to see when I get to painting later this summer.

I buy a new set annually to replace them. Work with fertilizer and like being able to breath after work.

The first time my husband used them he had a tremendous headache that lasted for days because I never imagined that the filters weren't going to protect him! For the price it definitely wasn't worth it as it doesn't work like it should.
