THIS BOOK!!!
Christian Harper is everything and more yes please. Obssessed hero? Check Slow burn tension? Check Forced proximity/fake dating ? Check This man would do ANYTHING for Stella and I personally think the world would benefit from more men like him lol he was literally calling her "mine" on page 12 when they were basically strangers!! Give me all the obssessed hero vibes please. The romance was great, the stalker plot line was well done, I loved all the cameos of the previous couples and overall this was just a great time. Stella was such a relatable character who we got to see gain confidence in herself and her dreams. And when she FINALLY stood up to her family and defended Christian to them in the same night? HELL YES!! I honestly just LOVED this book start to finish and have zero regrets about using my Saturday to sit and read this in one sitting. 5/5 stars (

The final story in the twisted series, the longest book of them all and just as enjoyable! Very much the same plot, relationships that can never happen but ultimately end up happening. This was the story of the last remaining friend Stella. After Jules moved out of their shared apartment in the Mirage, the landlord Christian, reduced Stella's rent even further on the condition that she looks after his houseplants. Stella is working on a campaign and not doing very well when it's suggested that in order to get more work she needs more followers on her social media accounts, and in order to do that she needs fake boyfriend. She runs the idea by Christian and he says he needs someone to accompany him to events and so they agree to be in a fake relationship. Absolutely no falling in love and no sex. Done. Stella is desperate for more money because she is paying for her old Nanny to live in a care home and they have just notified her that the fees are going up. So she needs more followers to earn more money. Maura, her old nanny, pretty much brought her up after a bad relationship with her parents so she classes Maura as like a mother to her. As always in these books, there is a backstory and in this one, it's that Stella has a stalker. Christian ends up being more than just a close friend and she ends up moving in with him after her apartment is broken into. This is where the relationship begins for real as they become closer. Christian is working hard to find out who the stalker is and kill him once he discovers. The only thing that let this down for me was that it took more than half of the book before Stella and Christian got together and I felt it should have happened sooner than it did. I did enjoy the end though where we got a little catch up of what happened next, just when I was thinking there should be more books, we didn't need any because we found out what happened next with everyone! Great series!

Great Ending for a Great Series
'Twisted Lies is the fourth and final book in the Twisted series, which follows social influencer and aspiring fashion designer, Stella Alonso, and Christian Harper, CEO of Harper Security and Stella's landlord. Christian has always been infatuated with Stella, but from a distance. When Stella finds herself needing someone to go to, Christian is there to help her, and demands she move into his apartment, but only if she will agree to 'fake date' him. But the lines start to blur between what is real and what is fake, until Stella finds some files in Christian's office which have the potential to ruin everything that has been built between them.' Did I read this whole series in 5 days? Yes and I have zero regrets about it! Christian Harper, the man that you are! He is my new obsession, there is no doubt about that. He always kept his distance from Stella, until she needed him most. He is very 'morally grey' but he is also just too perfect for words. Hot, rich, would do anything for Stella. I think he could've told Stella about the files or at least destroyed them before she found them, but to me it just seems like he completely forgot about them as he no longer needed them. Stella is my favourite FMC in this series. After being talked down to by her family for years, she decide's that enough is enough and sticks up for herself against their harsh comments and critiques. When Christian messed up, she didn't forgive him straight away and he had to put in the work to gain her trust again. I am so sad that this series is over but cannot wait to read more of Ana's work. Tropes: - Grumpy x Sunshine - Fake Dating - F0rc3d Proximity - Age Gap

Good way to end the series but pacing and story development was too slow.
Overall rating for this book is 3.5/5. Least favourite book in this series. Twisted Hate is my favourite book. Followed by Twisted Games and then Twisted Love. Pros - Fake dating, close promixity, morally grey hero. Sweet and sassy heroine. - Stella and Christian - I loved their thought processes and their character growth. - The romantic trips and locations. - The friends to lovers element of the novel was strong. - The cameos from the other characters in the Twisted Series. - Loved the ending and the extended epilogue. - Story was well written. - Enjoyed the slow burn style romance but it became too slow and dragged on for too long. Cons - Pacing of the story was slow. The first 60% of the novel was very slow and repetitive. Story developed from 65% and onwards. Last 20% seemed rushed. I was hoping for a chapter in relation to Ava and Alex’s engagement parties. Very few sex scenes and the first scene was only introduced 63% into the novel - book is over 500 pages - slow burn was too slow. - Sex scenes had some spice but were too similar to 50 Shades of Grey. - Characters spent too much time in their heads and poorly communicated. It took too long for the character’s to act on their feelings. As a result, this took away from some of the passion and the excitement when they finally got together. The build up to their physical intimacy dragged on. - I was expecting more lies and more plot twists regarding Christian’s work, family history, and some darker sides to Stella’s character. - Some of Christian’s actions were overlooked by Stella like Christian’s need to physically harm and murder anyone who upsets him or Stella. - Stalker element of the novel was poorly developed and was forgotten, for the majority of the novel, until the last 15% of the novel. Overall. Good book to wrap up the series. Book would have been better if it was 100-150 pages shorter with more plot, more development and less of a slow burn.

Best one of the series
I thoroughly enjoyed this book, compared to the others it's the most engaging. I really believed Stella and Christians love story, although at times Christians behaviour was suspect - let's call a spade a spade he was a stalker. Still I enjoyed watching Stella come out of her shell and Christian battle his demons as he fell in love. Good read!
