I use this unit hooked up to a heating mat on my jumping spider enclosure and it is excellent.very easy to set up and use. the wires are nice and long and are thin enough that they can be easily fed through the lid of the enclosure.I have a second thermometer/hygrometer in the tank and both are always within a couple of decimal places of each other so the unit is accurate. (the small difference in temp readouts is probably down to different temps in the volume of the tank as each temperature sensor is on opposite walls of the tank, im sure if i put both sensors right next to each other the readings would be identical)

This was recommended to me by a lady in the GALS Facebook group. African land snails need heat more than ever in the winter and being a newbie snail mumma I knew nothing! This is easy to set up and set the temperature. I did it without needing the instructions. Not bad for a beginner eh? 100% recommend.

I have been using this item since mid January 24.Item works well and easy to setup.

This was purchased to aid my Kefir making at home. I decided that I would ferment kefir in warm water - about 26 deg is ideal - so I used a slow cooker plugged into the thermostat with the sensor immersed in the warm water.The system works well however I would agree with some other reviewers that the instructions could be clearer. A common shortcoming of instructions is the author knows what they are writing about - the end user doesn’t!I haven’t tested the accuracy and time will however it appears to be a sturdy well put together piece of kit.
