This is very likely a great product for a very reasonable price. I bought it to upgrade the memory in my brand new HP ENVY 34-inch All-in-One desktop-pc 34-c1000, but unfortunately there's a caveat. The HP ENVY refuses to install these Crucial SODIMMs. The PC will return the error message "Unauthorized memory detected" and will shut down. So I guess I'm forced to buy some original HP memory, which is not only ludicrously expensive, but also quite unavailable. HP doesn't tell you this when you make your purchase. Shame, because the Crucial memory seemed like a very good deal and appears to fit most other brands... :-(
