connects easily and works well even without touch screen mode activated. i've had it for over a year and still haven't had to replace the battery, overall an excellent product for the price

I wish it was rechargeable because these batteries are expensive. It was a nice pen it connected directly to my laptop and the sensitivity worked great as if I was doing my regular handwriting. I used it a lot in one note and it responded so well. It is kind of heavy. but it’s metal design makes it more durable. If you run the tip down there is another one and is simple to replace.

I bought this pen last year to use for notes in classes. The pen itself works pretty well, and the battery lasted me a few months after mostly daily use. When it came to finding a battery replacement, it was difficult. I went to four stores to find one last singular AAAA battery for $9, which I wasn't even sure existed. After replacing the battery, the back of the pen, where you open to put the new battery in, wouldn't completely close and seemed to keep popping open. This could likely be my mistake by potentially stripping the part where it screws on, but needless to say, with only a few months of use, I had to buy another pen.

Great pen for hp laptop

Pros: 1. Easy to connect, you just have to tap the pen on the screen and the cursor will show up. No Bluetooth necessary. It writes smoothly, you don't have to press hard. 2. Battery included in the packaging. Despite the listing not saying it is not included, the required AAAA battery is there. Cons: 1. Sometimes it will freeze, but it isn't for a long period of time. You can simply retap the screen or reinsert the battery to unfreeze it. This is minor and I have not had any instances where it's froze during an art session. I think this may happen because of inactivity. 2. There doesn't seem to be replacement nibs. I'm sure you can get it through the warranty provided, but I wish there was at least one.

Only used a few times so far but have not had any issue with it. Feels good in my hand and has great functionality.

Crappy longevity. I'm a grad student so I use it a lot, and the battery life advertised isn't true at all. The AAAA battery it's packaged with was supposed to last 18 months. What a joke. It lasted one month. After replacing the battery, I got about a week more life out of it. Now it's just dead and completely unresponsive. This is the second pen I've gotten of this variety, I had to replace the first one because it stopped working. Both pens died on me just over a month after I got them, so it was a pain in the butt to get them replaced since it was outside the return window. HP is no help either, because redeeming a warranty is nearly impossible. Stinks too, because the pen worked great before it broke, real smooth lines and pretty good precision. There's some design flaws too, the clip on the side is really thin metal so it's kinda sharp and kinda abrasive to your hand. Plus the fact that you have to replace the battery every so often is really obnoxious. Overall, a crummy product, buy something else.
