Good Dyson Battery
Recently purchased a Dyson V7 Motor head from EBay, after a week the battery was cutting out. I read a few reviews and I decided to purchase a replacement battery.It is easy to replace, check You tube if you get stuck, the replacement battery is cheaper and more powerful than the original Dyson one. I like many will only purchase the original parts, this opened my eyes to the fact that other companies do make good parts and it will not effect the performance of the item.

Lasted five months.
Works fine with the Dyson v7 and fits well but unfortunately it has died after five months.Probably worth paying £65 for the genuine Dyson part.

STEER CLEAR OF THIS PRODUCT - IT IS MADE IN CHINA AFTER ALL.............
I suspect that most - if not all - the 5* reviews were written immediately after receipt of the battery and it's easy installation and initial use. I was originally delighted with the product due to the above plus points and the extended run time available. However, I held back from writing a review until the full bona fides of the product could be established. My doubts were occasioned by the very prominent 'Made In China' label affixed to the base of the battery, having had a less than optimal results from products originating from that locale. And so it has proved - almost to the day - after 6 months use it stopped; dead. Would not accept a charge; flashing blue light, nothing else; nada; rein; zip. Tried all potential remedial options suggested by YT and the interweb in general. Still nothing. Having said that, by complaining thru' amazon I have received a full refund in a reasonable timeframe. The problem now is: where to source a reliable new battery?This product is the epitomé of "You get what you pay for"; avoid!

Good at the moment
This is a reasonably priced replacement battery that is working well at the moment. Installation is easy and is is supplied with two pre-filters which makes the overall value good. Battery run time is decent but time will tell as don't yet know how well it will perform over time.

Just as good as original without the price
The package was simple but effective. The installation was amazingly smooth and it did fit perfectly. I was a bit sceptic because I had history of buying after market products that would look like the original and won't fit but this time it did fit and I would suggest it to anyone to buy it. Its not the real one but does the thing as the original and will save you money. You really need for the battery to work and not paying for the brand. I would definitely recommend it if does work. It is new so I can't comment yet if it will last you for years but so far I would say it wil last you a very long time.

Worked fine for about 6 months
It worked absolutely fine for about 6 months. One day. it just died. No signs or pre-warn. I used it mainly on low suction. I must have used it on max suction no more than 10 times in 6 months. When it did work, I thought it worked better than the original battery
