Turned into a ZFS Server - Works Flawlessly
This MB is wonderful quality. Having the on-board LSI HBA makes setting up large storage arrays easy. This motherboard is happily serving ZFS storage and everyone is pleased with the speed and storage capacity. The one bottleneck is the on-board 1G LAN, however the PCIe slots makes it easy to expand to 10G networking if needed. For direct on-board transfers (Virtual Machines) getting ~ 4.6 Gbps from ZFS. Nice!
