It was super easy to install and the fit was good. No instructions, but it's pretty easy to go based off of pictures to see where things go. I do also really like how it looks with my throw over saddle bags tying it all together. The rear seat back also works really well to hold your helmet when taking a break to not balance it on the seat. Overall I'd definitely recommend this over spending $200+ with Honda.

First thing I wanna say is this is an easy install and it looks great on my 2023 Rebel. Now why did I only rated it with 4 stars? Couple of things, first like everyone else mentioned, no instructions. For me its ok since I check all the photos in this product and just figured it out from there. Second thing is all the bolts, nuts and screws were not painted black. My solution, spray painted all of them in matte black. Make sure use the spacers included when mounting the side brackets so it will not rub against the bike itself. Also be careful not to over torque the bolts on the side brackets because it may bend the bracket if you overdo it. But overall, it seems to be of high quality, better pricing than the OEM back rest assembly and the finish looks great. Very satisfied with this purchase.

This backrest is awesome! Good quality, clean paint job, easy to assemble, however it doesn’t come with instructions. I referred to the product pictures to put it together. Passenger loves it and when paired with the mustang pillion it’s the next best thing to a touring bike

Was worried about it fitting bike with hard bags but it went on fine. But bag removal to install is required ( easy to do 4 bolts ) love it.

Item is great. This make my bike look so cool.

I chose to paint all my attaching hardware black to match my bike. Also chose to set the optional rack aside for the day I may take a long trip and need it.

The idea of the product is good but every failed in every way. Every part had a chip on the cheap black paint job so I repainted it. The hardware was chrome so I ordered new hardware. Mine didn't include spacers that many people said theirs did so I had to buy spacers as to not scratch the paint on the rear fender. The back pad is no symmetrical in any way so it looks weird. No installation instructions included but it's fairly easy to figure out if it had included all the parts that is.

Took about an hour to install on my Rebel 1100T DCT only because I changed out some of the silver bolts. The reason for the 3 star rating is 1; no instructions, I had to guess on what to do with the new and the old spacers 2; all the hardware is silver. This item is specifically marketed for the CMX1100...a blacked out bike so why is all the hardware silver 3; the coating is very thin and while it may be powder coat it can be touched up with flat black paint easily. I only wanted this for cargo so no passengers are involved which is a good thing given that the sissy bar pad is held on with two tiny screws. I replaced them with something more substantial. It should work for my intended purpose since it does appear to be fairly substantial once attached.
